Chris so as people first walk into Hancher Auditorum, chuck, their eye is drawn there right. Can you tell us a little bit more about what it is and what it represents . Take a look at it, the colors go so well in the lobby of the building. We really wanted to, as a team, really have everybody experience, have a wonderful experience before they even go in the theatre, to see whats on stage. There are adjustable acoustics in this building, so you can change the sound of the auditorium, there are more line sets in the building so you have more control of scenery, theres additional pit lifts so you configure your seating a little differently, so its a much more complex building than the original hancher. With symptoms like a fever, cough, runny nose, and body aches you may think its a bug that will simply run its course, but dr. Amy garlove says it could be something much more dangerous. People think that the flu is just a cold or i dont feel well for a while, but the flu can really be very dangerous. It can cause long term complications, and even death. By getting a flu shot, or a simple nasal spray. For a long time the flu mist, which is known as the nasal spray, is what we thought was most effective. Its a live vaccine, and for a while the research showed that it was more effective than the shot. However as the flu season and the virus itself changes from year to year so has the effectiveness of the vaccine. So Norton Healthcare have decided not to provide it. Last year the flu mist, the nasal spray, was only 3 effective which is very poor. The vaccine was 63 effective which sounds like its not great, but its still 63 of its not 100 effective . Dr. Garlove says you should still get the vaccine with flu season right around the corner. We havent seen any cases in our office yet, but its coming. Senator grassley made those comments during his Weekly Conference cal funding bill failed for the third time. The democrats all voted against it, because a part of the it would have prevented money from going to planned parenthood. That move kept the bill from reaching 60 votes for passage. Also, congress has until the end of the month to pass the overall spending bill, or the government will shut down. This summer, the weather has been just right for some iowa farmers. Combines are already out in some parts of the state. Thats next in our agribusiness welcome to the agribusiness Progress Report says 80 percent of corn has dented. And 14 percent has matured. But in central iowa. Near pleasantville combines are already rolling out. Its not smith has ever combined corn. But it might be for this field. Seems weird to be out this early but if its time its time. On one side of the street the field is green, on the other, its ready to go. In the first week of september. Kevin smith and his dad are harvesting a hundred and two day reading 20 to 21 percent moisture. Which smith says is perfect for shelling corn. A lot drier than i thought it would be. And the corn is pulling some solid numbers. Its not as good as last year but its above average, this is making between 190 and 200. In fact. The rows hes on are three quarter miles. He cant go down the entire line without unloading some grain. Despite the early start, smith says hes still worried about the start of the season. For me the biggest thing is people on the road, the first time out, theyre not used to having you out there and machines nowadays are so big that they take up so much of the road. You try to get over and give them as much room as you can but have no place to go to. Smith says by the middle of the season. Most people are used to combines on the roads. So just be aware. There will be Farm Equipment moving about now. I also talked to the landowner of that farm. He says four years ago he pattern tiled that field every 40 feet. That made it much drier to harvest earlier. Theres some green across the board today. With corn and meats rallying a bit. Market analyst angie setzer with citizens llc has more. Were starting to see a little more strength or a bit more recovery, or perhaps follow through from the buying that we saw there the tail end of last week. Theres some talk that perhaps. Some of these really heavy rains that were seeing continue to deliver some heavy rain to the western corn belt in the Southern Plains or could potentially in the delta region could potentially be limiting or hurting soybean conditions or perhaps even soybean meal Going Forward with some disease occurring. We are starting to see some actual combines yield reports coming in corn and they are indicating a little bit lighter than what the usdas been playing through so far. So we finally ran out of sellers in the cattle and hog markets at this point in time. Trading higher today. Fundamentall y speaking nothing really significantly has changed. We still have heavier weights, we still have the same supply of protein. On the market that was weighing heavy. Theyll be here if were moving lower but after a while as i said you tend to run t ofs sfe thinking that perhaps ve overdone it and i wouldnt surprised to see some follow through corrtion again into tomorrow or even the end of the week.
