Basically losing a lot oxygenation So that would be the 1st thing that I would look at is digging down to the bottom and or getting your meter and then seeing what that soil Why sure is that Ok we're now back up the bus you're going you've got to explain this more simple for me so are you telling me to raise that thing up and put it on what put on 2 by fours or so that I want Rick's. 2 by fours I don't really recommend because they rot away Ok so if you just set a month some bricks then that will allow for a little bit of variation and then the water to drain out much better Ok And that's that's really where that is are all parts are just the oak barrels that's for all containers that might be on the ground now and the other thing that we're really not way way way back up the bus Ok what if they're on my patio and sitting on semen Is that Ok No it could still cause that same problem Ok And then also we sometimes see that with the pots that are have saucers. That's why she was saying don't do that she said she has a little plastic rubber you know chunks of rubber and they're real cheap fish with me yeah and she said take 4 of these put those underneath because I came over to get the saucer thing to put underneath up to big pots with trees and all right so do that yeah that's why I guess that's the reason why now the other thing that you might want to do is she did explain it to me because it was busy putting a layer of gravel into that saucer Ok and you set the pot on top of the gravel and then it still drains through Ok but this is what what happens with Japanese maples is they can get a soil fungus that causes a root Ok so basically what it does is it has a tendency to attack it in locations and so you get the dive back happening on your tips of your plants but it'll start to work its way around and we see that a lot with the zillion as well where we've used a lot of heat loss and a lot of organics in the soil and so as they start to deteriorate they start to lose their effectiveness so Ok what I would do is keep it well fed right now you don't want to be messing with it going into the summertime where you're going to be messing with the root system I would wait until we get into the fall and then actually clean it out a little bit. And then. Replanted again some fresh air soil didn't stop so but go ahead and elevate it alland if I heard it now that won't be a problem for Ok so the only way that I learned to keep it well fed has a problem with something like that Ok now. You said something else about. Changing. All right so what I would do is actually take it out of the container clean out the soil wash some of the soil away from the plant and we talked in December October we're talking November Ok See I missed it completely Ok well I had 3 days like 3 months I did not get the wrong one. So during that time period this it's not going to stress out Ok this is one of the things that we used to do a lot when I was in the nursery industry was cleaning those up because they do start to deteriorate on their soil and so it starts to lose some of the neck I could get subdue it and spray it because you know I have a license but right before I can write and that's the reason why that would be one of the things that fungicide soil drench that she can actually apply so you might contact another spray company that has a license to spray that particular product or they can put in very long fungicide has basically the same chemical it's not subdue but the same chemical makeup as subdue and that will minimize the problem is not going to get rid of it unless we get rid of the soil and Ok start to clean you know but if you stop or put some of Bale on funds I put that on in that area a little bit on that point because it doesn't take much right now I mean one bag does almost 5000 square feet yeah we're talking concentrated in and they're also going to be $24.00 inches across Ok so a small amount out there for help slow it down Ok when when plants look sick what we call that is hosed blight. And that's a joke 50.9 percent but if you if you're putting on too much water then you're going to see fungal diseases killing your roots and if you have not enough water they're going to see drought killing your roots and we have to make a little and you know what the drought and the restrictions that we had the you know that also caused some problems Ok and if it's an apartment sign it doesn't matter if it has water today it's what happened sometime in the last year we're got hurt Ok right where you might be doing everything perfectly but you know it's a 52 week job keeping those things that containers water appropriately Ok so if he went ahead elevated it so you're telling elevate it in a maybe put into focus I've down a good drainage in allowing that soil to have a chance to air raid out with Japanese maples and some of our other acidic plants they don't like to be dry dry and so that's one of the problems is that you have to watch that water they like moist but they don't like dry and they don't like wet Ok so good yet again you got to make it simple for me so I'm an elevated but some fungicide down then feed it with some flour and Bloom Yes Ok I always I always keep it well fed during the growing season Ok and then the city is a big issue that if you take a look at Camilla is azaleas Japanese maples blueberries that they just love acidic soil and we have an alkaline organ we have an alkaline inorganic soil and they like organic acidic soils and so when you originally start look at using peat mosse and the sort of fighting agents and acidifying nutrients in order to try to keep it that for when he makes a change in November right because our water is high and by carbon it's our our you know you accumulate salts you cumulate raise your ph and these things you know especially gardenias. You know they start off looking really good after 5 years they're not even there anymore yeah I planted a dozen of them my yard I don't have a single live gardenia my yard is because nature disfavors a void in that the void here is it wants to go back to an inorganic alkaline soil and you've got to constantly work to offset the water you're putting on absolutely Ok now.
