right now -- a waterloo man is accused of luring two girls into sex trafficking. trafficking.officers say they've arrested lawrence campbell junior. waterloo police tell cbs 2 news they discovered the crime earlier this week when they caught a girl shoplifting at the waterloo target. they say campbell met both 16-year-olds online--and told them to come to waterloo from chicago for a better life. when they got there, campbell allegedly told them they would need to have sex in order to make money. police have now contacted the girls' parents to let them know they've been found. across the country -- hundreds of thousands of children are at risk for being sold into human trafficking.unlike other violent crimes -- this one can go un-noticed. un-noticed.one corridor woman who escaped the sex trafficking trade says we have to band together to stop the cycle.local organizations -- like chains interrupted -- also provide services to help survivors.but they say the only way to make sure children and women are safe is prevention. who's being rafficked." trafficked."only one to two percent of victims are ever rescued from the trafficking trade.to learn more about the effort of organizations working to end human trafficking - visit our website cbs 2 iowa dot com. a tama county man is now dead -- --after he was hit by a train. it happened around e yesterday morning in montour. the chicago to portland train was passing through when it hit 27-year-old reginald walker.authorities are still working to determine exactly how the collision happened. union pacific tells cbs 2 news that counselors will be made available to the train's crew. a cedar rapids teen now faces several charges after a tuesday morning accident.the 19-year-old was illegally driving with only a permit and caused a crash that tied up commute...according to police. officers tell cbs 2 news - the girl ran a red light on sixth street - hitting a pick up near the intersection at first avenue. the truck flipped over and landed on top of a minivan. another teen was hurt, but is expected to be ok. it was a very close call --for one officer in iowa this past weekend.this is dashcam video from a winterset police cruiser.the officer was driving along highway 92 when a car crossed the center line, almost hitting him head-on.the officer immediately turne driver who was charged with speeding and drunk driving. residents at a nevada trailer park are lucky to be alive this morning after a small plane crashed right next to several trailers. trailers."the plane nose dived in to the asphalt just next to the vehicles in the tralier itself and didn't strike it" it"a single engine plane crash caused this fire in sparks, nevada.only two trailers on the scene were damaged along with a few vehicles.witnesses out of the sky. the linn county board of supervisors supervisorswill vote on a new ordinance that would raise the minimum wage throughout the county.this morning at 10, the board will have their first vote on the ordinance. ordinance.if the proposal is approved -
