Today prosecutors added three new counts for solicitation of murder. Thats on top of the 75 counts already facing the livermore golf instructor. Seen online in video and photos posing with many of his students. The charges include molestation and lewd acts on three unnamed boys who were between 12 and 17 years old. According to an investigators report, on february 25th a deputy at the jail said an informant showed him letters from nisbit asked for the informants to be taken care of. The informant then received a letter from nisbit agreeing on a price. An undercover inspector told nisbit he was a mechanic and could fix a car for him and made a pistol with his hand. The inspector said the crimes wouldnt be traced to nisbit because it appeared the victims got robbed for their cell phones. On march 18th. Sterling was heard telling his girlfriend not to bring blacks to games as well as other racist comments. We stand together in condemning mr. Sterlings views. They simply have no place in the nba. Tonight we know that the victim is a mother of three. And her stabbing death has people on edge this evening in one neighborhood in san jose. She is the citys 13th homicide victim so far this year. At this Point San Jose police have said very little except that a woman was stabbed. She was found dead and they are looking for a suspect. This is the bottom floor apartment where a victim was found. A neighbor said he heard nothing, no yelling, no screams, no crying baby. This was according to that neighbor a mother of three in her 30s. Police say she was stabbed once. One neighbor called for help. Dont know any of these circumstances surrounding the murder. We just know the neighbor was somehow notified and called the victim. Reporter we know several neighbors were home at the time around 3 00 this afternoon. Thats scary. Thats why i was concerned. Because this is daytime. Usually things like these happen at night. Reporter no one heard any commotion or fire trucks and paramedics who arrived with nothing they could do. According to neighbors the family in this apartment moved in about a month ago. Little else is known. Reason enough to concern the people who live on this street. We dont know right now if this is just an isolated incident. We dont know. We dont know who the suspect is right now. Reporter as police were clearing the scene we were able to speak to neighbors closer to that apartment. They provided more information. This is from neighbors, they say that victim was a mother of three daughters. Twin daughters and an infant. They also say the man who liveded in that apartment was here on scene talking with police. San joses independent Police Auditor released her annual reports. The report includeed the recommendation that an officer be fired if its determined he or she died during the investigation. The report was also critical of some of the Police Departments handling of mishandling cases including one that included having sex on duty. When that happens it is our view that such an officer must go. The department we believe must recommend termination. Reporter after much discussion, the city council decided against a proposal that would have made termination automatic if it was determined that an officer lied to the investigator. Newton remains in custody accused of repeatedly stabbing her 7 monthold baby boy on saturday in a park in livermore. Family members say she has a history of depression and police say she has confessed. A man convicted of stabbing a uc Berkeley Student to death in 2008 had his conviction overturned today. Today an Alameda County judge dismissed the case against him saying the defense attorney who represented 26yearold andrew hoeftede nfield showed a level of disingenuineness. Prosecutors now have 30 days to decide whether to offer hoeft edenfield a plea deal or retry him for Second Degree murder. Ktvu has confirmed that abduh youseff has arrived in hawaii. According to the owner of the parachute center in ocampo, two sky divers collided. One of them broke his leg but the other one was knocked out and did not deploy his parachute. Today a city supervisor asked for a review of the size of the fire trucks and whether they cut into the safety of people walking on streetless. Divers in San Pablo Bay located the fuselage of that small plane that crashed after a collision on sunday. The wreckage is about 11 2 miles off the coast. Investigators think a midair passing maneuver is what caused the collision sending one plane plunging right into the water. The other plane landed safely. One of the boats that responded to that crash was from the richmond fire department. And firefighters say that boat is so new it isnt even officially in service yet.
