To let me take the team into Libya and this was the war was still going on so he came in through Tunisia's right after the fall of Tripoli but the idea that we would be there to help out with any security needs or anything that any other type of services we provide to the embassy which was just getting way to reopen there so I spent quite a few months there on the ground got to know the regional security officer Eric Nordstrom and Bill and the folks that provide security for the State Department internally and we're trying to work on some security solutions. I travel down out of the country to go look at another contract and there came a tender out to provide security at the embassy consulate compound in Benghazi for those who don't know you know Tripoli is over in the Western so. The country thing was easier with the eastern part of the country and kind of where the rebellion had began and it was what was considered we call a fallback embassy physician she Kirti situation in Tripoli had deteriorated significantly and so the embassy was looking for a position that if they had to remove their personnel from Tripoli they were going to fall back to this position in Benghazi which was an interesting choice because in the eastern part of the country as were a lot of the radicals for a lot of the radical elements like what would be called ISIS today that they were called Alonso or Al Qaida in Africa one of the dozens of the bad dude yeah bad guys that guy's not exactly friendly towards us but they were hanging around that one of the country so the tender came out and I traveled and and I was actually on the compound that's at the site security survey so the company and we did you know these things go out for bid and we were this we were the sole company that that on this contract was 1st left and this would have been in February of 2012 so this would have been you know 6 or 8 months before the attacks. State Department contracting officers kicked it back and said we had to get at least one more bit in there which is really odd because they normally don't do that and then there was a small company which it had a couple of guys on the ground called Blue Mountain group out of Wales u.k. And they beat us by 4 percentage points on the price a lot of people don't know that the State Department is found by a $990.00 law that requires them to go with the lowest bidder that's technically except the yeah. And you know so it's an interesting such as kind of a race to the bottom. I would note also that you know we were the only licensed security company legally operating in Libya at the time we had partnered with the only remaining security company after the regime still with the team in a thing that was then called after was security.
