Barlow was first elected to the city council in 2007. He represents ward 5. The court order was served earlier this week. Demanding the city preserve electronic records. Its part of an fbi investigation. Barlow was a City Council Liaison before taking office. He previously worked as a legislative aide to former u. S. Senator richard bryan. Specific allegations have not been made public. The fbi does not comment on ongoing investigations, as a matter of policy. Metro police declined to comment as well. In a statement to 8 news now, city officials say. The city of las vegas has received a records request the city is cooperating fully. Because the records are now part of an ongoing investigation, the city is unable to elaborate on the details of the request.
