a wildfire has forced some evacuations at
Great Basin National
park in northeastern nevada. This is video of the strawberrry fire taken by the university of

is about 300 miles north east of las vegas. Dubbed the strawberry fire. At this point it is burning out of control. And about 5thousand acres. Several campgrounds near wheeler peak have been closed. To put it out.

and the fire is one of several still burning across the west. That includes the pilot fire in
San Bernardino
county. That is burning in the mountains east of los angeles. And is moving fast. Tripling in size in just 24 hours. Those flames have caused thousands to leave thier homes. There are 800 firefighters on the ground trying to hold the flames back. But for those who live in the area. It comes with the territory . Steve cook neighbors who stayed this is our third go around we are veterans. for now the flames are only 6 percent contained. You can see in the video that the areas the flames have already passed through are a wasteland of ash and torched trees.

a man who hit and killed a 38yearold changing a tire in march of 2014 was sentenced today. Then 22yearold gary adair junior will serve four to 10 years in prison following a plea deal. He struck kadar brown along the side of the us 95 near summerlin parkway. Adair pleaded guilty to one count of dui with drugs resulting in death. Police say

The aftermath of a horrific crash on i15. Live in utah so i travel this way many times every month and ive seen accidents along here. Its a tragedy to end it that way. This is what investigators know so far. One of the survivors in sundays deadly crash , joy, was wearing a seat belt. However the other survivor, who was one of the four people ejected from the car, wasnt. Wi p would have to think that people werent wearing their seatbelts. And this was a tragic event all the way around and it just takes 2 seconds to put that seatbelt on and maybe this whole situation would have been avoided. Its still unknown if those who died were restrained. Its sad to hear. I know sometimes who dont wear them, maybe they survive. But usually the odds are if you dont wear one, youre in trouble. Police say the driver of the car causing the car to roll over. Michael brandt, their son carlon and daughter ashley were all killed. Its a common sight for many drivers on i15. The one i saw yesterday was a semi truck rear ending another one. So, its kind of a sandwhich situation. And another one was just a car lost its tire and it kind of rolled and i think it hit another car on the way out.
