I agree so let's get into the news right now I want to start with something positive Kimmie consumer to consumer confidence index is that an 18 year high now think about this this would have been before 911 Yeah this was this was a time when people were really excited about what was going on in their lives and it was a big shock then with 911 and so it's been a long road in coming back as sure has they said you know we haven't had this confidence since the 1900 Internet boom I love it and unemployment is at its lowest in almost 2 decades. You know we see people out there shopping they're spending their money that are happy you've got retailers like you know Kohl's and Wal-Mart Target saying that they've they're having their best their best months ever in sales but then also I'm looking at d.s.w. And other groups like that as well all of these reports are going great you've got retailers that said they are they are at an all time hiring they want as many people as possible because they're expecting that the season is going to be huge Christmas is going to be huge as you know you know Black Friday the day after Thanksgiving is usually the day that most retailers Finally after an entire year of sales are finally in the black which means that they're finally profiting and I think it's going to happen much much sooner and that's great news well it is great news the money while you were mentioning this earlier in the week we were talking about the fact that the parent company of Kroger's and King Soopers is going to start to do an experiment where I guess they're no longer going to offer plastic bags now if consumer confidence is at an all time high people are going to need bags to get stuff home from there from the store right right so it's almost a progressive idea to start to limit bags because that means that you can only buy so much Exactly so there's not as much spending so there's not as much a money going into the economy and they start to see a falter Yeah but I just don't understand I think everybody out there if you know somebody that doesn't seem to get the economy and understand. I cite economics and understand that really the more money that we the people have in our pocket the more we will spend it the more jobs we will create by spending that money than buy them the book Economics one on one good idea that think long term All right that's good news another good news I think to me is NAFTA you know that we've had the conversations going President Trump has been speaking with Mexico for quite a while now they are ready to go they are ready to go ahead and have their own just us in Mexico agreement now Canada wants to get on board it looks like they're there lady just flew to town and she canceled some trips to make sure that she could be here for some talks because the deadline is Friday Canadian foreign minister Chrystia Freeland she just arrived in Washington yesterday she canceled a trip she's they've she's wants to get in on this new NAFTA deal she doesn't want to be just u.s. And Mexico they want to be a part of it but you know they're getting pushed and they may be forced to make some concessions and can as we've said before we've spoken to some friends from Canada the point is it's not that we want a one sided agreement we want to deal that everybody ends up on an equal playing field so there's not one country that's putting tariffs on the other countries exports and imports it's that everybody is equal so yeah so it's free and fair trade is what I think Trump is really trying to get to in Canada is really really has have dragged their feet on this in one of the sticking points I think that the President Trump really wanted is he wanted us a sunset clause on the agreement and we need more sunset clauses in government not everything but I think it's always important to go back and reassess and so instead of a sunset clause they've got a 16 year agreement on this and then they're going to reassess it after 6 years and I guess that's good because then that gives all the businesses you know anough stability to be making decisions if they know that that's going to be in place for 16 years and so Canada has really drug their their feet on this and obviously if she was off. Over in Europe you know Well Mexico is and the United States is talking she did hurry back and because Trump said we're going to we're going to get this thing done by writing yeah yeah now we're kicking the can down the road right time to do something so real quick I just wanted to point out a couple of the things that are in this new agreement between Mexico and us a lot of people being concerned are cars going to cost more money is are you know different things that are produced with with steel than it cost more money in a looks like things are going to be pretty good just a quick it's not really a radical deal but this agreement is saying that car companies are now going to be required to manufacture at least 75 percent of an automobile value in North America under the new rules this is up from 62.5 percent to 75 percent that's not a big deal but I think it's really going to work out well for us here in America and it also says that the people that are working and on these cars earn at least $16.00 an hour I don't think that's such a big deal for America because I think that our manufacturers pay that here in America but the point is that a lot of these are companies have outsourced to other countries because the labor is cheaper there so this takes that away saying even if you're going to outsource that the people who are working on these cars have to learn at least 16 dollars an hour so that's going to go a long way I think for bringing jobs back here to America another thing. Let me just say this is also there something that they're doing with labor yet another one is the u.s. Is requiring a higher wage factories to recognize collective bargaining rights Now this isn't Mexico where having Mexico recognize collective bargaining rights can you imagine if if the people who live in Mexico are actually have some sort of protection have some sort of guarantee have to have higher wages have more rights than they have now I think they may be interested in staying in Mexico I mean if you don't have to flee the border to get a better opportunity you'll stay in your own country and wouldn't. That make Mexico a safer and more prosperous place well you know. Typically when I hear collective bargaining I think Union and to your point I think that's you know I think that's a noble thing however I think this may be a nod to try to get the support of the Democrats in Congress to support this to have that collective sharing language in there one other thing Molly this dispute settlement we talked a little bit about that yesterday and I'm not sure that I totally understand that but there were there was a word that you had 2 words in here that you had it says the original NAFTA created a system of international tribunals. You know that is of great concern when you have an international tribunal and I think the trumpet ministration have pushed back on that it looks like they came to some kind of a compromise on that but I really I do like to make sure that we have sovereignty you know for our businesses and so I'd like to kind of keep an eye on what happens exactly with that dispute settlement that I understand and and you know that's why I like the fact that Trump is going to different countries and looking at doing agreements with them specifically by other than the entire globe all in one big agreement to join because that way it's not like the whole globe is voting on our on our agreements Yeah it's a one on one deal I think what I want to know is who's involved in that international tribunals that really quick to labor since you brought that up I think collective bargaining rights in America at one point we needed them now we don't write it Ok but Mexico probably needs them good point they are very far from where we are now they're they don't have a lot of pride or lawyers that are willing to pay people good wages to do jobs they don't have a lot of competition they don't have that I don't know if they have a lot of qualified workers for what they're doing there and so they are able to pay them very low wages so I think there is a time in a place for that Ok so you know use it to get to where you are use it to get to where you need to be so that everybody is in competition and once you have qualified workers competing for. Good job then employers will be paying more money like they do in America that's what the way the free market works Ok Ok well maybe maybe I'm thinking no sunset on collective bargaining all right there you go good point there you go all right well let's go to break and before we go to break real quick I just want to give a shout out to act to blue print dot org You know we talk about the issues and the challenges that we face in America today we talk about the fact that we want our government small and the individual big and instead of just complaining when our when our government gets too big we got to look for solutions act to reforms has a blueprint to adjust the division of power in d.c. They want a transparent government regardless of the political party. Right versus left check out to blueprint org one of their ideas is to apply term limits on congress in the judiciary Now you may agree with that you may say yeah you know what someone like John Conyers who was in office longer than I've been alive more than 50 something years and he didn't get out until a sexual harassment claim against him yeah I think term limits are good or you might say yeah but what if the when the good guy gets in you want to be there as long as possible I get it agree or disagree let's have a conversation check out act 2 reforms follow them on Facebook and Twitter this is the America will go to break we'll come back with more headlines. What are Gate 2.0 My guess is it happening I think it is is anybody going to be held accountable I sure as heck hope so the positive thing is that the facts and the truth just keep coming out one after another after another after another it's a nightmare for anybody who is trying to scheme the system so before we get into that this is the America Smalley and Cam and we are American loving checks we are here with you every Monday to Friday 6 to 7 am we're putting on the news giving you our our opinions on it we want you to be prepared at the water cooler on the go talk to your friends and then go do some research and make sure that you've got all the facts as well and and so follow us on America's website Facebook and Twitter as well you got it so maybe I will be with us in the next segment so be sure to stick with us now is something that was asleep so you know we've got a lot of these behind closed doors testimony has taken place last week and this week and a lot that's going on we've got this Russia. Russia Trump investigation that's been happening for what 2 years now and it just a never seems to die and no no proof against Trump colliding with colluding with Russia has been coming up a lot of other things have been coming out so I saw that there's this tweet that just came out from Representative Mark Meadows saying our suspicions are correct the f.b.i. And the Department of Justice have previously leaked information to the press and then used those same press stories as a separate source to justify their fires or warrants to get the right to illegally wiretap Trump's campaign team so that they could come up with this crazy rush of collusion story this is like Banana Republic stuff like now exists this came out from Rep Representative Mark Meadows because he's with the house Freeman caucus but it also just came out from f.b.i. Intelligence analyst mafia he Jonathan Mafia Friday he testified and he basically said the same thing he's saying f.b.i. Personnel uses media reports based on information they leaked to justify applications for 5 years of warrants and he said that this he said you know he worked with Peter struggle as a page and I remember the lovers that were saying that they had an insurance policy Trump was not going to be president and so he worked with these guys so he knew what's going on behind the scenes and I think it's also interesting and I think it's important for people to remember that steel the expert a spy that put together this fake dasi a that was used for those fires award was hired by the d.n.c. In the Clinton campaign to come up with this fake remember Steele admitted in a British court that he met with Yahoo News at the direction of fusion g.p.s. Fusion g.p.s. Was hired by the d.n.c. In the Clinton campaign you talk about campaign finance problems here I think that that the d.n.c. Of the Clinton Foundation need to be looked at obviously or the Clinton camp. And excuse me but God who knows they they said that he leaked this information this dossier to all these different news sources Yahoo is the only one that picked up the story and ran with it and that is what was used by the f.b.i. In a fight or. An almost makes your head spin it doesn't really look at this does now there was great Jarrett over at Fox News is really doing he has a new book out but there was just a recent article that came out where he said Director James Comey knew that the f.b.i. Was incorruptible So this is precisely why he seized control of the investigation. Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton's e-mail practices covering her time as secretary of state instead of allowing the f.b.i. Field office to conduct the probe and I think it's important to note that it was the guys at the top there was doing this that's where all this collusion is going on so there's James Comey at the f.b.i. There is James Clapper at the let's see national security ministration And then there's John Brennan with the CIA right and you wonder how is it that the top guys there you know how did they get there this all happened you know coming up into the Obama administration Right right yeah and former CIA Director John Brennan briefed Senator Reid 2 days before he wrote the letter to Komi about this investigation so the CIA told the head of this told Harry Reid in the Senate that he needs to take this story and run with it he needs to leak it and that's what happened this entire thing. Is fake it's fabricated it's fake and you know what this is all about ultimately is this is to get Trump Yeah. You know and it just came out that Lanny Davis who is the let me find that here we go Lanny Davis you know he is the attorney for Cohen who was Trump's attorney who they've just done a plea bargain and the plea bargain he has Cohen has pled th
