We are here at 17th and people will be lining up all morning. Just about 8 00 is when people started lining up here. Were aboot a block away from the start of this parade. Its still an hour away from the start of the parade at wynkoop and 17th, in front of Union Station. The barricades are up, but there is plenty of broncos orange up and down each and every time somebody comes by they all cheer. The number of people tens of thousands of people already hereeand the parade is another hour away. I think we had a few here at 6 00 this morning. This is unneal. Big head todd the monsters iss on stage. We have a couple of local groups from boolder. Funkiphino. Thats right. And great music all morning long. We put our order in for maybe if youre thinking about coming out, its crowded, but its a Beautiful Day, lots of families here. Everybody smiling having fun. Lets give you a Vantage Point from the other side. over to the capitol with Lindsay Watts with the scene there. Reporter you have a great Vantage Point where you are, but close to the capitol you can get a senseehow big this crowd is. Its hard to even estimate how many are here now, but the city thousands. If youre still at home and want to get out here, there is plenty of time. The parade will be coming through in a little less than two hours and the rally with broncos players and the mayor, governor, that will be starting at 1 00. And some of these fans have been out here a long time. Closer to the stage people got here at 4 00 in the morning. And i had to talk to you. Tell me about your ride. This is typical wheelchair, converted to a little more stylish, but something more comfortable than what the `overnment gives you. Reporter oh, yeah. You have the best seat in the house for this rally. They said no folding chairs, so i didnt hear objections to this. Reporter that is true, youre not allowed to bring folding chairs. Can protest. All the pedestrians, they have streets closed off, restricted. Had the barricades up and it is a mad house. This is where the route is closed. 17th down from basically Union Station broadway and broadway, we just saw broadway and at the city and county building. 17th and broadway, the people down there. Colfax and bannock on the north side of the city cone building and a huge amount of people there. Take a look from airtracker 7. All the people N Civic Center park. It is a vvry big crowd obviously that is going to be in downtown. Theyre going to shut down the light rail getting into downtown across downtown in a little bit as well. Look at that. Whoa yeah, dayle, look at that. Look at all those people. That is a sea of blue and orange. Absolutely unbelievable. From ouu rooftop camera, if you take a look off to the west, you can see people walking. Right here this is speer. Theres broadway. There was literally a row of folks wearing their orange tracking down broadway to get to the paradee yes, walking is going to be you because a lot of the roads are closed. Weather is perfect. You can wear the jersey. In denver its 46 degrees. 50 lamar. Youre going to be in for an incredible afternoon. At nnon our temperatures should have jumped to about 54 degrees. 55 at the beginning of the rally, and then for those as you may be hitting happy hourr before you head home at 3 00, `8 degrees. I think this is one of the best spots because you can just walk to Civic Center Park and watch the entertainment thats going onnright now, or you can walk to cheyenne and colfax and wait overoverwhelming sense of team now. Some are enjoying the music, others are reserving their spot at the parade. Waiting to see that trophy they waited years and months for. I caught up with the father of six who pulled his kids out of school. When he was their age he attended the 1999 parade. I asked if there was a difference and this is what he had to say. Back then it was somethiig that weehad yearned for. This time i think its just kind of solidify were a real dynasty contender and were on the level of all other cities. Reporter so happy.
