And officers caught a break and stopped him at a bus stop yesterday. At last check, the victim is still in extremely Critical Condition. And police are looking for the person who shot and kill a man on monday night. The victim identified as perkins jr. And police tell us that someone shot and killed him during an argument and ran off. Another crash is on loop 2 and eastbound near 44th street and i have been taking a look down there and that does no the look like its blocking traffic and not a huge problem. Definitely something to look out for and well head to the a traffic stop didnt go as planned for a dps trooper. This is a story you will see on abc 15 mornings and the suspect voled here escaped and still on the run. The scene pinpointed here and on the u. S. 60 and grand avenue. And theyre blocking down ape area as well and abc 15s katie conner is on the scene. And do we know who troopers are looking for . Right now, investigator investigators are going over the video here at the gas station. This morning, a trooper pulled over, a guy followed him here to the gas station, put the guy in handcuffs and that is when he put him in the back of the patrol car. Dps said the guy managed to get out and run across grand avenue here and wet independencees say they saw him running through the witnesses said they saw him running through the parking lot. Dps said inside the suspects car, they found a significant amount of drugs and theyre not going into detail about what exactly the drugs are. As soon as we learn more, well pass it along. The manhunt was called off after 4 00 a. M. This morning. As soon as we get that suspect description, we will let everyone at home know. A child is in Critical Condition after getting hit by a car. The police say the fouryear old was with two adults and they were jay walking when they were hit. The two adults are expected to be okay. The driver and passenger of that car, they ran a re from the scene, but the driver later turned himself in to the cactus park precinct and were waiting to hear if any charges will be filed. And were hoping to get our hands on the mugshot of a man suspected in a shooting in yesterday morning. Jesus caste well, well, in o, is s in custody. The victim is in the hospital and expected to be okay. Police have not said what led to the shooting. Was it road rage or something more . Dps is looking for a black kia soul and like i said. The woman rolled down her window and pointed that gun and fired at a truck. There was a bullet hole in that truck. Listen to the dispatchers call called 9 lynch. 911. A white kia sedan, black female driver, shotgun at rp and gun reported as a black handgun, apl vehicle exited on hov third avenue districts. They heard a pop and something hit the vehicle. And so that driver, a black woman, they believe in her mid 20s and again, driving the black kia soul and you can see how busy it is out here. Dps hopes someone in the area saw something happen. Again, they said she was crying if you think you know something, dps wants to hear from you. Live along i10, justin pizera, eyewitness 15. When rescuers got to the 20 or so people inside, they found them huddled together in a bathroom. And i believe we have look now. Do we have that available after the chopper shot . And that is why there. And this is getting over as you look at the images, the chopper is showing some of the damage. And so well be watching for the winds like what we saw yesterday in the phoenix metro this afternoon. And the valley Storm Chances today do look lower and there is a slight chance of a straight storm nearby and that is a chance, something were going to watch here and below 10 and as it doesnt look promising. You can see the future cast will show you the best storm potential will be higher terrain and unlike yesterday, the storms wont be racing south but staying off to the north is and that should keep them out of the valley. We could get some gusty winds from them and well watch for an isolated pop storm to the west and the surrounding desserts. Other than, that you can see the future cast keeping the valley all clear and changes, more storms in the high country and eye boost in monsoon moisture here and we have a watch for Storm Chances in the valley. That chance up to 20 tomorrow and into saturday morning. Afternoon and evening that can produce strong winds and pockets of heavy rain and some dust, too and temperaturewise, today, just like yesterday, 103 below average. The temperatures stay in low 100s through the weekend and were going to get hotter into next week. And i will talk more about that uv index before heading out of the door in a few minutes.
