Can vocal technique I use to study with her a couple years ago too. So yeah he and I worked together for 3 years co-producing the e.p. . Cool and has it all mixed mastered and ready to go yes it is done in Dio and a done. So it'll be available on Bandcamp plater this month on the 31st I also have a wonderful album trailer that's out on Youtube now but got released about a month and a half ago which actually shows footage of the recording process and battery town city which is super cool to watch. And a few different people worked on it with me there's footage that was shack up of years ago in Tahoe actually by a wonderful some atomic for and photographer a new me Benson. I did some apprise dance in the woods and Tahoe in the freezing cold barefoot wearing a slip dress. We do for our Charley but it looks amazing and also John Nero took footage of the recording process and battery Tansley So that's in the trailer and a wonderful cinematographer Shawn Johnson we went back this past October and got some amazing footage also in battery tons Lee this time not recording this time I did some improvised dance I like to improvise with both music and dance and especially being in a space like that it's really interesting to just interact with it and see what it draws out of you in the moment so there are some really interesting dance and a really interesting mood that was a vote when I was in that space and Sean also captured some beautiful shots of reflections in the water because you know all the rainfall we have had the past several months so it's really gorgeous so if you go into u 2 and put in key or score 0 c h i r a o s c u r o or my alias chiar this Komi that's c h i n r a space vi us c o m i you'll find it. We met several years ago teaching at a night called Dancing ghosts and we shared a lot of the same tastes in music some of the music that you've heard tonight you know just dark evocative emotional we also wanted a night that promoted women women musicians not exclusively but we wanted to give women a platform and Women's Music a platform. And so that filter we d.j. Dark wave minimal wave shoegaze serial dream pop and the music that just doesn't easily fall into any category like allow the music I've been playing tonight you know just like or just a deep esoteric stuff. And then we've had live performances the 1st show we had Zani a Morgan to an amazing ritual performance. Second show we had Joyce Shannon and the beauty marks who plays Celtic harp and cello doing folk so I'll be performing at the next one and I will be performing some songs off of the pomegranate whiny p. And also some new material I'm really excited about too I've been experimenting with prepared accordion using different effects getting some incredible drone sounds off of that. And I've been carving some really interesting spaces vocally tale that I think pomegranate pave the way for but I'm almost like in the whole of their place now vocally so I can't wait to share that. So yeah actually a lot of stuff coming up then in your world that's very good. We had just heard of quite a lot of material believe the last thing we heard was Brian you know and David Byrne Yeah actually so what was playing as we were talking is this song written by an amazing film composer named Jocelyn Pook She's a pianist and a viola player and that song was actually from the Eyes Wide Shut soundtrack called Master ball that has traditional orthodox liturgical chanting backwards and before that we heard a song called Cool Seville by Laurie Anderson off of the strange angels album Ok and then before that yeah I was man called by Brian you know and David Byrne from one of my all time favorite albums most inspirational albums my life in the Bush of Ghosts which is also a book.
