Reporter yes, here in oakland a day of peaceful protests turned into a night of not so peaceful protest. The show room windows bashed out up and down broadway, and cars damaged as well. All of this did begin peacefully. Its going to be a peaceful night. You have the right to peaceful protest. Reporter it was peaceful for a few hours, as about 500 people protesting everything from Police Brutality to capitalism made their way up broadway, but an hour later vandals started breaking window, and went on a rampage in auto row, setting one car on fire, and busting the windows out of other cars. I see it like a game of chess, and if one day we can throw rocks at police, right or wrong, thats the day we took a stand, and that in my mind thats a win against the system. Reporter there were some reports of heavy rocks action brick, and rock, brick, and bottles thrown at police, but there was less confrontation than weve seen in the past. Not sure how many arrests has been made, the police havent had time to brief us yet. And hundreds of people marched in san francisco, starting at city hall late this afternoon, and made their way down mission street. Traffic was a mess, but police say they were no major problem. In baltimore tonight police are arresting anyone out past the 10 00 p. M. Curfew. Office nears riot gear cleared the streets. Earlier in the day, people celebrated in the streets over the six officers charged with the death of freddie gray. He died while in police custody, the injuries happened while he was riding in a police van to the station. Tonight the six officers charged in his death are out on bond. These are their mug shots. Three of the officers black, three are white, one of them is a woman, baltimores top prosecutor said this today. Tonight the Baltimore Police union says none of the officers charged are responsible for grays death. And there is breaking news tonight in pittsburgh, two people shot and killed inside a home. Police also tell us four people were arrested at this same home earlier this week in a Home Invasion case. Right now its unclear if the two incidents are related, but tonight two people are dead. Reporter about 120 juniors couldnt take the test for a couple of hours. We want to be able to give them assessments that matter, and not have the kind of support we needed, that just kind of kicks you when youre down.
