When youre an offense like the cardinals you should be more crisp in were not really seeing that. I think it stands out more with the interceptions. Look at that first one. Even if that ball didnt get tipped you cant float it over the middle. These are thing, offensively, that really concern me. Defensively, i think the secondary, there are so many new pieces back there, the rush is still not getting there rush time to get there or the rush gets there to help the secondary and right now were not leading to either or. Right now they have to blitz us and if they do we can get them man to man, take advantage and throw opposite of peterson. Before we bring cam into this, what do you like of the cardinals in. I like the running game. I think theyve done good establishing that. If youre good at the run thats goin eight men in a box. When you do that you get the one on one matchups. Defensively i like the hustle theyre playing with. Theyre coming with fire. Since the game tackleing, thats always been an strength for them. Its going to take more. When you have a guy like mathieu, he has not played all season and probably not playing thursday, can you just miss the entire camp and step on day one you can but youll be rusty. I think thats what the cardinals have to take a look at. I think they should give him a couple snaps in that thursday game. Mentally i think hes a senator player. Hell understand what he needs to do. Its a matter of getting timing and the speed factor down. When you practice with your guys you get that down. If im want to give you two snaps on thursday. Come the regular season game maybe bring him off the bench, just get him acclimated to the game and maybe put him in during second half. Ims a 16 week season. Cam, back to you.
