According to fire investigators, that child was breathing and alert after the accident. They believe the little boy was able to get into the backyard through a doggy door and then into the pool area. Reporter avery was diagnosed with ewing sarcoma, a rare form of bone they said i was going to lose my hair, get my leg cut off. Reporter she endured six rounds of chemo, but in the end, doctors found the tumor in her leg had died, but avery still faced the possibility of amputation. Thats why she was in a wheelchair. She wasnt allowed to walk because after big hole in her leg. They were afraid it would break. Reporter even that wouldnt dancing and stuff, and when i couldnt walk, i hopped on my leg. Reporter doctors came up with an ingenious fix. They removed her tibia and replaced it with an arm bone from an adult cadaver. They did an arm bone in my leg and so arm leg, so i put it together. Reporter avery is now in remission. I just want people to know its not going away, and if people arent willing to talk about it, were not going to get funding for it. The storm will continue to track to the north and to the east again with most of the moisture staying out over open water. But there is still going to be that threat there along coastal areas of south carolina, as well as georgia. The potential we could see tornadoes and very gusty winds.
