News nation has learned exclusively that a man on the radar of both the fbi and dc Police Reportedly made concerning visits last week to the fbi headquarters and the department of justice and intelligence bulletin obtained by news nation says the man who at this point hasnt been accused of a crime was turned away from the federal buildings after he visited quote to air his grievances. It goes on to say he shared with his mother that quote, he was going to find explosives and blow up an undisclosed sheriffs office. Officers have been told to look out for the man who police say may have Mental Health concerns. This latest warning comes as federal Law Enforcement are on high alert after the fbi found and took away boxes of documents. Some marked top secret and others classified from former President Trumps florida home. The fbi and department of Homeland Security confirmed sending a memo out friday regarding the heightened threat environment. Multiple media reports say that memo warned among other things of a threat to place a dirty bomb outside fbi headquarters. Also on friday, newsnation obtained a similar memo citing online chatter from far right extremists that, quote, a civil war was imminent. The magistrate judge that approved the mara lago search warrant and other fbi officials have faced antisemitic threats and calls for their deaths in far right corners of the internet. A pretty pretty big uptick in. That really specific set of conversations or cheddar do indicate likelihood of some sort of heightened kind situation. John lewis studies homegrown extremism at George Washington university and tells newsnation the clearest risk from these threats is lone wolf attacks like the one last week on the cincinnati fbi fisld office. Its really its just that lone actor rights doesnt need to have a Group Affiliation or membership in some antigovernment whitesupremacist group. It could just be someone who hes extremely online. Now features 2 of former President Trumps closest allies, atlanta prosecutors have informed Rudy Giuliani that hes a target of their criminal probe and they are investigating if any laws were broken. When former President Trump allegedly tried to pressure Georgia State officials into overturning election results. Giuliani has been ordered to testify before a special grand jury this wednesday. Meantime, senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina has also been ordered to testify before that Panel Following the election. Graham made several phone calls to the georgia secretary of state. Prosecutors want to question graham sbout those calls. The 2 former officers charged in George Floyds killing have rejected plea deals in minneapolis. Prosecutors charged Jay Alexander king and to town with seconddegree murder and seconddegree manslaughter. Today, both men rejected the states plea offer which could lead to a longer sentence if convicted. The state of minneapolis recommends up to 12 years for murder charges and 4 years for manslaughter. Both men are spending 3 years in federal prison after they were found guilty of violating floyds civil rights. It was back in february. The trial is set to begin in october. An update now to a story we told you about a little earlier in this broadcast. Oakland police Just Announced a couple minutes ago that they have made an arrest. A possible suspect is in custody following a shooting near lake merritt that shooting wounded a man just before one. 45 this afternoon on bellevue avenue near the bonsai garden. Its not clear exactly what condition the man is in who is shot. There were a lot of people calling 911, right after it happened again. Someone is in custody. A possible suspect connected to the shooting. Kron fours man. Harry is following this story and will have more in a report later on tonight. The search for a ferry passenger who is believed to have jumped overboard into the oakland estuary. Hes been called off early this morning. The coast guard announced that it is ended. The search without finding anybody on sunday. Witnesses told the ferry captain that someone had gone overboard. The vessel was immediately turned around as they tried to rescue the person. The ferry crew remained on scene until local authorities arrived. Coast guard says that since the search has been called off, its likely the person who went overboard did not survive. Livermore. Police arrested a driver over the weekend to they say had 3 pounds of marijuana. And a handgun with an extended magazine. The driver who was described as a 48 yearold from oakland is a convicted felon. Police say who they say this person was initially stopped for a Traffic Violation and they found this. Police say they person was arrested on suspicion of dui and driving without a license. The deadline is looming for 7 states, including california to figure out how to drastically cut water use as the Colorado River crisis grows 2 months ago, federal officials gave the western states until mid august to find out how to use at least 15 less water next year. But after weeks of tense negotiations, theres still no agreement. The bureau of reclamation could step in and issue additional cuts to protect water levels of the countries. 2 largest reservoirs thats at lake powell and lake mead, which are supplied by the dwindling Colorado River. The city of livermore is launching a new program to provide free recycled water to residents today through a fillip station. The station will give people recycled water to use on their lawns and other outside plants for free. They say Drinking Water is kept in a separate pipe system than any recycled water pipes and hydrants that use the recycled water clearly label the city says it uses about 2 million gallons of recycled water a day mostly for keeping its landscaping in the city. Latest tweets from the Schaefer Ranch road area where some people are choosing to the Shannon Community center is a place where folks can go, you know, if you need to meet up with family or what not just get out of danger so far, it doesnt seem like there are any Evacuation Orders, but certainly they have told people and that Schaefer Ranch road area to be ready to go. And some people are choosing to leave just to be safe. Chief meteorologist Lawrence Karnow is been following conditions in that area where large this fire was a 2 to 5 acres a little while ago. Now to 10 acres. Yeah, you can see by the winds early on how that wind was laying on the ground. Give you an idea. The winds are pretty active around that fire right now. And thats the big danger youve got this time of year. The summer heat has brought with it. Some very dry conditions. On top of that, the drought. And here you are seeing with this fire in the kind of a canyon. This area is right along a 5. 80. You can see even valley road there as well. And thats the big concern now is were going to see that fire and weve got the winds picking up in the afternoon. Does look like a whole lot. Look at latest reading there in Castro Valley. But mountains in these canyons, 10, the funnel of winds. And so thats kind of like blown through a straw, a with the wide mouth. You dont get much in the way of wind as it squeezes tightly, though you suddenly get a whole lot of wind. And thats what were seeing right through the fire area right now. And thats the big concern is now were getting some gusts is the time to get on the other side here. Were looking at gusts in dublin over 24 miles an hour. So those winds being amplified by the topography in and around that fire. Now, thats the big concern Going Forward this evening as that fire will continue to push in the east were direction generally. It will fan out in around some of these areas. Of course, youve got these canyon areas where can trickle in different locations. So the winds will kind of wrap around some of that topography. So very tricky where theyre fighting that fire. Were currently at 40 to 50 the fires off of a north side of the freeway. A found 5. 80 in the canyon area in the community. A safer rant. The right at front row did and dublin, it kind of where a lot of the that are being impacted that all community up there off of albert drive and that border it impacted. That fire. That europa think again, we do there. We do have it. Air report too. And its been unified command without county fire and the land with fire. There is an Evacuation Center in the in the city of dublin at the center. Not that 1, 100 can an avenue to plan. So we have been telling folks that that they should be prepared to evacuate. Are you a evacuating anyone yet or should they just be ready to leave at a moments notice . Well, Law Enforcement will be the ones actually issuing mandatory evacuations but of course, you know, the fire, quote, open having a hard time breathing. They can get to say between 40 and 50 acres, this fire has grown to. And, you know, i guess it i know with the amount of, you know, resources the you have in the amount of fires that you sometimes up against. It can be tough to get as many. People. In the area on the ground as quickly as as you need to do you feel confident . About your ability to prevent this fire from spreading, you know, to the east, to the ship shape for ranch road air you mentioned theres, you know, this Little Development there. There are quite a few homes that how are you feeling about where things stand in your ability to stop it before it actually gets to homes. Well, we have a lot report that theyve ordered Additional Air tankers. We additional helicopter and like that working how county fire. We have a lot of report there being able to be a structure protect and and and work on been no a record loss. And were doing everything they can grab that. A look back to make sure that protect the home. So, josh, were looking at some video now folks on 5. 80. You can see the smoke off there and its pretty close to you having to close the highway there. The if the ok where you can, its not visible. But with we are making the trek to the fact that make sure we contain do expect to be able to fly aircraft once it gets dark. If the fire still a threat. We did. The conditions are kind of right for these sorts of fires. Are you guys anticipating more than popping throughout the week because of the high temperatures . Yeah, i mean a lot of that. You these grass fires can move very, very rapidly, especially in the afternoon to get the afternoon sea breeze kicking in. Thats exactly whats happening right now. And of course, you get that a part of you. So all of a sudden you get these wind blowing and they get squished between some of the party. They start to be rapidly to those areas that were seeing right through 5. 80. Thats why they built roadway in that area is because its right between some of the mountains and easy to get through. But it also facts is a funnel for the winds. Were seeing that right now and not too far down the line. You begin to see some of these homes that are along the way, some places that maybe businesses, some places that are home, some tracks of homes further down the road. In fact, you get into the xi a ranch road area and you see numerous homes in and around this area. And that is the big concern that less than 2 miles away from that area. And so with that wind coming out of the west and blowing toward the east. The concern is not only going to see the smoke, but the fire could be an active fire there through the evening hours and could reach that area. So not a bad idea to be ready Evacuation Order come your way. And that smoke continue to work its way all the way in toward the dublin area, too. So not all that far away from those areas as well. Were watching that closely as some of that smoke. Well continue to run and make its way in the dublin. So you may be smelling some of that smoke already. Theyre likely to see some ash fall in some of those throughout the evening hours, too, until they get that fire under control. So it looks like were going to see this fire continue to burn. Firefighters can hold and get a handle on that fire right now. Very active fire situation. Very dangerous at this time. Well have more news. Were continue to watch the et three sisters.
