What else has been happening there is a fire drill today if you were here on campus that was crazy I haven't had that yet and my time is in is a state. Few weeks. I was in my humanities class and we're talking about the philosopher Hume and my professor was you know he's talking about he's pretty passionate about what's the point you know class is coming to an end on the fire alarm went off like oh my god it was just no worries just a drill but it was perfectly timed. So. That was the point of view not really but it was entertaining. Moving on. From. The new album. And at last I knew it was the joke's on us. And it was off their. It's one of those. Let's see what. We started out with is this music. I think that was music that was. And then we had secret weapon that was off of there. Came out a few months ago. F.-a u.-x. Real clever I love it. By Phoenix of of their new album. And the last one you heard was empty no teeth by this is the kid and that was off their new album moonshine freeze now that's another one that was recently added to rotation and there was another really cool sax solo in there. Earlier in the hour played the my numbers and had a really cool guy from solo and this one I feel I'm not even trying to exert all these cool saxophones a loser I play saxophone I'm in the strong marching band so I am a sucker when bands incorporate strings and when into their music I get excited I think is really cool being the band I am. So I enjoy that shadow to this is a kid covering the saxophone. And if you do want to see a marching band we're actually playing at the game on Saturday 430 it's actually band day so that means that all sorts of local high schools are going to be there playing with us it's our way of recruiting. Getting them to join the band and come to San Jose State and so they can see what a college marching bands like. And apparently there are enough schools that there's going to be going to our director he does like to overexaggerate but they're supposed to be $1100.00 high schoolers out there with us so should be a fascinating halftime show on Saturday. Next up we have live forever by hell fire this is a local band for are they from they're from San Francisco. This is a little bit heavier so embrace your anger straight now and this is the new album free again. Thanks so much for tuning in we've got a lot more coming your way that he belongs to 9.5 f.m. Made of power to you. And Mrs the resistance. And I hope you've been enjoying what you've been here. Today. We started out this with live for ever. And that was off their new album. And their last. And you heard it was all over you by the spill canvas and that was off of their 2007 record no really I'm fine. And they actually just announced that they're going to be playing that record for to celebrate 10 years of it and they're going into or they're going to be Cisco at the social hall on December 12th so that is pretty cool. There's some cool stuff on that album there are a few albums that turn 10 years old this year that. Pretty pretty influential for me growing up there was infinity on high by follow boy love that record I think that's my favorite ballboy record and then there was a riot by pair more that album completely changed the music I listened to back when I was like in 4th grade that was my jam right there still is not going to lie. But paramour made me realize there was more in life than the Jonas Brothers which got us the Jonas Brothers but. I just you know for me up to the very start of pop. My started popping around the start of pop punk as a general but my beginnings of it. Moving on from that next step we have down in the dark by blue as in stone this is off the new album down in the dark Thanks for tuning in this is 9.5 f.m. K.F.C.'s Ground 0 radio.
