Im playing a small role but it is a fantastic event. Theres going to be a lot of entertainment out there. Theres going to be show girls obviously music, food, and people i think to be out at the event this year. Krystal and you are the ring master. They said show girls are there so i said sign me up. Krystal of course. You were talking to me about a couple of your big projects coming up. You have a thanksgiving project feed something 450 veterans. And then a Big Christmas project coming up as well. So you help pretty much everybody in the community from veterans to kids, you name it. Our projects coming up. Again, we have gift of gobble which is going to feed over 450 veterans. We also have our santas workshop. Both of those events, one of the main things the just one project is all about is supporting and encouraging volunteerism. We provide volunteer opportunities for people of all ages. Reporter just 36 years old, she never had a mammogram before. But she went in for one out of precaution. I just knew that something it shouldnt be there. Reporter the lump turned out to be Breast Cancer. I was shocked. Absolutely. This is the area of the tumor in julies breast. Reporter dr. Molly sebastian with Virginia Hospital Center says many women are intimidated by breast selfexams. Its hard for women to know what is normal, whats abnormal, whats my normal density, and what would something bad feel like. Reporter she says the key is to do them once a month to establish what you so that something abnormal stands out to you. Look for any change in appearance including dim ping of the skin, redness or fluid and feel for changes like lumps, swelling or soreness. There should never be something as hard as your nook until this area. Reporter if you find something, visit your doctor right away. Were very effective at treating Breast Cancer when we catch it early. Thats the goal. Early detection. Reporter julie didnt before but says she will now and encourages other women to do the same. Taking gold michelle did you spray paint this . And bedazzle it. Michelle i also notice you did the same thing with these pumpkins. A lot of the stuff we were saying is dyi. Do it yourself. You can do a lot of this at or anything like that, you can find these things and do this to make your house look fantastic. You know, no matter what you have going on. Michelle you walk into any of the local craft stores right now and its like fall threw up. So you can find all of this stuff. But doing something fun. I was asking what are the liquids inside here . These are fun like little jars that you can find then then you can throw a little signage on the front. You can throw little bones like weve done in this canister here. Just to give a halloween eerie kind of feel to it. Still yet its clean. Its still modern and still sophisticated. And its vintagey. Most definitely. Michelle i also like, again, the idea of spray paint. You can do a lot with spray paint. Totally change it up. Michelle and people spray paint teal pumpkins for people who have food allergies. I dont know if you are aware of that. But thats something i have seen step. Would this be something you would do on the inside . What about the outside of the house . You can take a lot of these elements and actually bring them in to a bigger scale. So for example this picture frame thats right here, you can actually get a really eight x eight gold gilded frame and do some of the things here on a larger scale.
