When we opened up group we always open up with a intro question of the day and the question of the day was what is one thing in our community when you see it or witness it, makes you a little sad and it was overwhelmingly homelessness, said Juvenile Court liason for sioux city schools and girls circle facilitator, margarite reinert. The group of over 50 7th and 8th grade girls reached out to the rest of the student body and asked for personal care and cold weather items. And tuesday, they grabbed some bags and started putting those items together.
