Three new surveillance cameras have been installed on interstate 80. Police are hoping the cameras will not only help solve shooting but prevent shootings similar to the one that plagued the 80 corridor back in 2015. In those cases the shooters made a quick get away with few witnesses to help solve the crime. At speeds of 65 or in excess of 65 its really hard for witnesses to get accurate descriptions of what occurred or even recall the incident if they were able to witness it. So what these cameras well be able to go back and get an accurate vehicle description and accurate important trail of what occurred.
