Someone may have watched and followed him because no other unit was burglarized. Choto reported the theft to

workers. He was told the surveillance camera does not work. Its just been a hard time. Really hard time for our family. Amparo says her father immigrated from guatemala to the u. S. Almost four decades ago. She says hes worked hard all his life, and he was diagnosed with cancer three years ago. Ktvu betty yu spoke with some of the victims, who believe this could be a very coordinated crime spree. Video shows a car pull up and park in the middle of a cul de sac just before 3 a. M. On tuesday. The suspects casually stroll up to different cars. They focus on the audi and easily break the window and rummage through it before walking back to the getaway car in no apparent rush. Theyre getting more brazen every day. It looks like they had broke the window, and then they crawled in through the window, opened the center console, ruffled through there, pulled the mask and the only mask and napkins in there pull them out onto the seat and then crawled back out, because if they open the door, the alarm goes off. Longtime resident roger warsuma said outside of one off car break ins in the past, the merrywood neighborhood hasnt been targeted like this. Right after this video captured what looked like the same car and suspects at another cul de sac pulling the same stunt, they appeared to use glass breaking tools and didnt set off any car alarms. Another camera angle shows them getting into a porsche. Nearly a dozen residents woke up to shattered glass in their cars and on their driveways in the morning. Oakland Oakland<\/a> firefighters battling a large fire at this warehouse. Well keep you updated as we learn more. With that, i do want to bring in our chief meteorologist, bill martin, for the conditions that those firefighters are facing. Not that windy out right now. That windy, which is fortunate. And you got a higher humidity and cool temperatures. So weather is kind of if anything its helping firefighters in this. But those warehouses man they could have anything in them and they burn. All right. Well keep you on that story. Well keep you on the temperatures as well. Today it was cooler. Tomorrow will be about the same. These temperatures about 5 or 10 degrees cooler than yesterday. Noticeably cooler. A lot more comfortable too. The humidity was a little bit funky yesterday with that. Some tropical moisture wafting through the area. The plan this week is this what happened today . We cooled off. We bottomed out temperatures tomorrow about the same. And then we climb out. We climb out pretty significantly. I think were going to stay kind of in the warm range or hot range inland. Right through saturday, sunday and into monday, where we could see upper 90s, maybe even a low 100. The fog will come back along the coast. Its there, patchy, but theres the fog. Bank is very diffuse right now. It should come back and you should see it. You know how it was this morning. Thats how it will be tomorrow morning. You see a sea breeze for sure, right . You see those greens . Those darker greens representing high humidity air temperatures. Little cooler inland than it was last night at this time. This is the low up here. Its hard to pick out, i know. Lets see if i do this. Ill put the jet stream in. So you drop that. Its

You can see temperatures very, very similar to yesterday. Air quality is good with this pattern. Fire dangers we just pointed out even today was wasnt horrible in terms of weather. But in terms of time of year and state. We live in. Yeah, its fire dangers. Its always high. Its until we get those first rains, its going to be a concern. And this first rains often dont come until september, late or october. Certainly theres the fog forecast for tomorrow morning, a pretty good sized footprint. And then you see it burn back. And just like today, not so as we go into friday, saturday and sunday, temperatures are really going to heat up. These temperatures will be a nice respite from those. But as we get into saturday, sunday, monday, inland spots easily into the mid 90s, upper 90s, youll see that in the five day forecast. If this passes, they are not obliged to provide service, which means they can pull completely out of serving an area. They can decide they dont want to serve certain neighborhoods. They can decline service to customers. They can refuse to repair their phone lines. The
Utility Reform Network<\/a> has concerns. So do politicians. Former san jose mayor sam liccardo, whos running for u. S. Congress, held a
News Conference<\/a> on the matter. Those who critically depend on these services for their lives and livelihoods need to know that service will be there and be reliable. Liccardos opponent in the congressional race is evan lo, a current state legislator. He released a statement on x saying he too is against the bill. But at t says, quote, no customer will be left without voice. And 911 services. It adds the bill has important protections, safeguards and outreach for consumers. All that has to happen under this bill is they swear, they promise that there are alternatives for customers. We know that there are not.
