Custody and has been charged with murder in the shooting death of a black man who had been stopped fair traffic violation. We are told the victim apparently was unarmed. The instent was caught on video and Michelle Miller has the latest details. Reporter scott, the video surfaced this afternoon and apparently shows a white Police Officer shooting a black suspect in the back. The officer, michael slayinger, says the man was stopped for a broken taillight, and according to the officer the man took his stun gun but the video appears to show a different story. gunshots the Police Officer apparently shot at the man a total of eight times as the man ran away. According to the mayor of north charleston, the Police Officer is in custody and is being charged with murder. Well have more on the story as it developed scott. Pelley apparently, the officer had said earlier that he had been in fear of his life when he fired his weapon. Clearly, the man running away. Thank you michelle. Now, to californias historic drought.
