Right now on Eyewitness News septa puts a new Regional Rail schedule into effect for tomorrows commute, hoping to ease congestion, with more than 100 cars, still out of service. Eyewitness News Reporter trang do is live at septa headquarters in center city with reaction from some riders tonight, trang. Reporter natasha, riders i spoke to are upset about these new schedules. They say times are different by a few minutes but their trains are only coming once an hour. Thanks to loaned equipment from amtrak, nj transit and maryland come monday morning there will be 1700 additional seats on septas Regional Rail lines. Septa release aid new interim schedule to reflect addition of the three locomotives and 18 passenger cars. Center city. Reporter Regional Rail riders we spoke to said they didnt see much difference at all in the new rail time. The new schedule is pretty much, within five minutes the way that the schedule was before. Reporter on july 3rd septa pulled 120 of the silver liner five cars due to the structural defect. That resulted in a loss of 13,000 seats on Regional Rail lines, until those cars can be repaired or replaced. But we have no choice. We have no choice. How often are you supposed to get to work. Well, also tonight philadelphia demonstrations, continue, over Police Involved killings of two black men in louisiana and minnesota. Dozens marched from 40th and Market Street in west philadelphia, to penns landing, tonight. Eyewitness news caught up with the group near 24th and market in center city. They are calling for peace and end to police brutality. Tonights protest was peaceful. In baton rouge, louisiana more than 100 protesters were arrested during a confrontation with police. Demonstration was in response to the death of alton sterling who was shot during an even counter with police. Federal investigation, is currently underway into that shooting. Protests turn vial event in st. Paul, minute so the last night, several hundred protesters clashed with police as they shut down one of the twin cities main highways, interstate 94. Protest where is in response to the Police Shooting of Philando Castille during a traffic stop. Also tonight a popular stories shut down after a nasty crash in northeast philadelphia end with a truck wedged in the wall of the building. Reporter police tell us this driver just left supermarket behind me. He was driving along this roadway when for whatever reason he did not stop here, he just kept going straight for the intersection and ended up nose first through that wall. I just knew it was something not good for the whole building to shake. Reporter loud bang, building shook, 20 people were inside hand and stone massage and facial spa when this pickup truck slammed in the side of the building, workers say they had to run outside to figure out what had happen. They saw this truck wedged in the wall. Luckily they werent in that room. It looked like truck hit where that one roomies and didnt touch nothing in the other rooms. So luckily nobody was in that room. Nobody was hurt. Reporter karen daily, spas manager tells cbs3 that the truck ripped through interior walls. The pickup truck driver had just left the nearby giant supermarket. Police at the scene tell me it is believed he had a medical emergency, possibly a seizure. The business has been here for two years and sits off grant avenue down from the northeast airport. Impact isnt believed to have caused any significant structural damage to the building. We are doing what we can. We are just trying to put something to hold it together for right now and then hopefully in a week it will be cosmetically looking much better. Reporter with the exception of the the driver of the pickup truck nobody else was hurt. We did speak to the pickup Truck Drivers father and he says that his son was taken to the hospital for observation. In the meantime this business is expect to be up and running in about a week. It happened on the 6,000 block of harbison avenue around 4 00 l Eyewitness News that the robbery suspect got away with money and cigarettes but luckily month one was injured. Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf says he will allow a bipartisan budget bill to be law without his signature. Wolf made that announcement earlier this evening. He had until midnight on monday to sign or veto the measure but says he will do neither. The 31 billiondollar budget includes money for pennsylvania schools and addiction services.
