Sharks in the water find out where the warning is going out today to swimmers, katy . Brooke, we are in the midst of some damaging storms here in the delaware valley, coming up we will track those storms for you, tell you exactly when they get out of here, i also come bearing nice weather news. Ill tell when you we are expecting the perfect day of this forecast coming up. We have video, make anyone think twice about going in the water two sharks spotted close to the shore line in huntingdon beach california came about 50 to 60 yards from shore, lifeguards on jet scries tried to scare them away, 2mile stretch of the shore line remains closed after several large sharks, have spotted since sunday. And there is plenty of weather going on right now in all different part of our area, quick look now at hail, falling in montgomeryville, montgomery county. Eyewitness news viewer danny caught this on his cell phone and tweeted it to the cbs3 weather department, he says theyre getting it pretty good in montgomeryville right now. Oklahoma. Straight up Severe Weather rumbling through our area, whats good is that it is quick hitting, it will be clearing the coast by 3 00 p. M. Generally speaking. But, what we are finding out there, this is brunt of the system pushing in. All it is is a upper level disturbance, but bit of over achiever of upper level disturbance, ive been seeing report after report coming in hereof wind gusts peaking, region wide, really, the line of storms rumble through of anywhere from 55 to 60 Miles Per Hour, as a result, it is causing some damage, and thats where we start things off by taking quick look here at just viewer picture that came in this is actually from one of the social media, very own reporters overlooking Spring Garden street, here, take a look, look closely, there is a tree that landed on a car, just outside our cbs3 studios, so that was when the brunt of the storms coming through our region, meanwhile, going out to one of the live Neighborhood Network cameras, going far out to the west still likely raining and drizzling out across kutztown county middle school. Do you have very gray skies, very cool air now, as the storms have moved through. The wind isnt as strong at this point, but, there is still northwesterly breeze. By comparison, a live picture, you have got more sun than anything outside middle township high school. Obviously the storms have yet to move in. But the tell tail signs of the clouds starting to build in cape may courthouse, generally up and down some of the shore point, you have little bit of window before the storms get herement like we said, good news, theyre sipping right along, generally seen these storms rumbling through, at about 45 Miles Per Hour, and even as you see the tail end that far front, starts to sort of fizzle away, so this is upper level disturbance just had a lot of over achievement, i guess, running through its veins. So thats where some of the strong storms came from. But this is going to continue to zip out to sea however with time. So, the time something on our side, even by the time we hit say when the kids are getting out of school, further inland you are you probably have sunshine returning to your afternoon, main storm threats, the highest threats are going to the heavy rain, and the very strong winds that we have been seeing, there is certainly some lightning to track, it is relatively frequent where we are finding it, but it isnt completely widespread up and down that line of storm. Hail, well, we showed you the video moment ago, relatively low threat as far as coverage, but it is still happening. Thankfully we dont have to worry about any kind of tornado activity. Area wind gusts where we peak, within the last couple of minute, 46mile per hour gusts in dover, but as i mention i have seen the damage report come in already, ive seen the gust reports coming in at 55 upward 60 Miles Per Hour as the storms have rumbled through. Wait until you see the difference in the thermometers. This is a look at your current temperature. Notice anything . Can you tell where the front is . Right through there. Youre in the low 70s from millville to ac, and cooling off from all of that heavy rain and the wind driven system, to the 50s, as we speak, so, very, very cool air comes with this system. But not really going to be able to rebound much more than that. Now, dow think you will get the phillies game in. But probably going to wait this out. There are still some showers lingering, at this point, the brunt of the strong storms has rumble through philadelphia, and south philly, as well, but i wont be shock if theyll wait it out until they pull the tarp up, not even sure if they have it down right now, regardless the heavy rain pushing away with time here. As you go out to the shore points, though, youre still waiting on them. So another hour or two, the storms will be rumbling your way, actually not even that long, i would say because moving so quickly you can see them probably by 1 00, 1 30 at the latest, 72, pretty much already hit that. Looking at the seven day forecast, we move forward with much quieter weather, thursday and friday looks just awesome. My personal favorite is friday though. You lose that breeze. You keep the low humidity. And you warm it up by couple of additional degrees. Come saturday, sunday, there is frontal passage. That will take place, late day shower or storm on saturday, maybe shower sunday, but low 80s where we should be, more than anything guys looking at some sunshine, so just getting past the next couple of hours and basically quiet . We can do that. Cooler temperatures are coming, too. She is comfortable with 80s, and just skip past it. Get a marker out. Anything hey, we want to invite you tomorrow for our tenth annual alex scott stand for hope telethon. Our phone lines open tomorrow morning at 6 00 a. M. Sharp. Hopefully our power is on, you already heard yours is snout. Mine is out at home right now, hopefully im sure theyll be out and taking care of that, storms still rumbling through, quickly we take you out, storm scan3, at this point it, looks like it is starting to fizzle little bit. Not quite as much in the way of lightning showing up on doppler, we do still have severe thunderstorm warnings, update since we came on at noon, now all of Cape May County most of cumberland also included until 1 15.
