The eyewitness video chilling, a 24 year old man is attack from behind and left unconscious lying in an intersection after he confronts a group of kids on bikes. By the time i got to him, yes, it was cents about maybe 30 seconds later, regained consciousness, but very disoriented, serious concussion, pretty large injury on his face. Couple who asked not to be identified watching from their apartment window was able to rush to the mans aid while calling police and shooting this cell phone video. It happened thursday, around 9 00 p. M. At 19th and fairmount, police say group of ten to 15 minors on bikes riding through the streets hitting cars with sticks, when the victim asked them to stop. It was really people getting upset, we got concerned someone would get hurt. Second happened this happened, one throws water bottle at the victim, another punches him from behind leaving the man lying unconscious and bleeding in the intersection. He went down pretty quickly, and he didnt move after that, i was really concerned. I stayed with him about putting pressure on his face. Same group confront add couple lombard street while stopped at intersection and tried to pull the woman passenger from the car. Short time later Police Arrested a 16 year old and two, 12 year olds, from the oxford neighborhood, but believe more are involved. There is an aggressive nature to it that seems planned, and thats specially disturbing. The victim was taken to Hahnemann Hospital with a fractured jaw. That had to be wired shut. The bill would require first time dui offenders with a blood alcohol content of. 1 or higher, to install before these, an ignition under lock device. Offenders must blow into it every time they want to drive. Attached to the cars electrical system it, will start the engine only if there is cents no alcohol detected on the drivers breath. If passed the law would have impact right away. Back in 2012, under then law, 580,056 interlock ignition devices cents were installed, that led to about 14 million tests before drivers ever took to the roads. But, if this new bill was in place back then, that would have led to an additional 11,079 interlock ignition device that is could have been installed, as well. I think it can save many, many lives. The dui coordinator in lower bucks county, where she evaluates dui offenders every day. But more than just a job, for her, it is painfully personal. My daughter was killed 19 years ago in a drunk driving crash. Twentytwo year old alice was in the back seat after car that was crashed by a man who was both drunk and high. No matter how much time, youre never prepared to lose your child. So no surprise then that she support the new law, but says statistics back her up. Police in bucks county nab some thieves who they say stole from rite aid. Falls Township Police got tip call early thursday morning, from someone who said they saw a pickup truck behind a rite aid tractortrailer at warehouse, and that items were being off loaded on to the pick up. Now, police have charged three people including the drivers of that tractortrailer, who police say stole the rite aid merchandise to two other suspects. Were still trying to figure out how rite aid didnt pick up thon right away. Suspecting took small pieces cents of shipment to the Different Stores so wont notice it as quickly, but were unsure how he did it. The police say the scam appears to have been going on for some time, and that as much as 50,000 worth of merchandise may have been stolen.
