The windchill it makes it feel as it is it is minus two in philadelphia, trenton and wilmington. Millville, minus 17 in the poconos. Now, expect to find temperatures really cold all day. Theyll get no higher than the low to mid 20s, with the windchills theyll be down five to 12 degrees. Were going to be dry here today. We do watch some wet weather starting to come in here. And youll be find that as we go through monday morning, but look at that, could there be some rain associated with this . Nearly dozen cars are off the rales and leaning, though none have fallen. Also, new this morning fire fight remembers called back out to a scene on the 100 block of west seymour street in germantown. It began around midnight with a fire and a row home. That blaze was brought under control, but rekindle overnight. Firefighters have since gained the upper hand. No one was hurt, but part of the home is now in danger of collapsing. That agent opened fire friday morning on a man he said, was trying to steel his car inside a parking garage at 11th and orange, but police say the actions of the 32 year old man did not merit attempted carjacking charges and that no criminal charges will be filed. There is an Investigation Underway into the federal agents action. Driver loses control crashing through the front wall after cherry hill home. Eyewitness news on the scene at cooper run drive in crescent road, across from Cherry Hill East High School late friday afternoon. Police say the elderly driver of the car may have hit the gas instead of brake pedal. Driver was taken to the hospital as a precaution. His grand child who was in the car was not injured. Four people were inside that home at the time. None in the living room where that car came barreling in. I just came home from school. And i was hanging out and then i heard really loud like crashing noise. So then i went downstairs, and it was like a car in my living room. The family who lives in that home is now staying at a hotel. The 17 year old victim of attack on septa trolley had surgery at Childrens Hospital of philadelphia. This is the victim. Her name is shea. She suffered a broken nose, and a black eye in the attacker on a septa trolley last week. It was all recorded on cell phone video as you see here. Now, that suspect, 40 year old damon oliver, turned himself into police on wednesday. The victims mother says her daughter encouraged by all of the support shes received. A lot of support. This incident has really allowed her the opportunity to see the people who are real any her corner who support her, who love her. Weve gotten outreach of support from everyone around the city and owl side of the city. Oliver, who has criminal record, was suspended from his job with the Philadelphia Department of parks and recreation with the intent to dismiss. Delawares department of health says a woman in her late 20s has measles. Shes from new castle county. This is delawares first measles case since 2012. Now, Officials Say the case was contracted internationally, and is not linked to a recent outbreak in the united state. People have had close contact with that woman, will be monitored for signs of symptoms. On the cbs3 health watch this morning the flu season is reaching its pecan the cdc says it has been one of the worse outbreaks in years. Cbs news correspondent begat shaban reports, it is specially difficult for the elderly population. If youre among the unlucky americans who got the flu this season, you can likely blame a particularly nasty strain called h3n2. It has a history of causing a two, three time hyper hospitalization and death rate than normal, making things worse, this strain mutated just after production gannon this years vaccine. The result . A vaccine thats only 23 effective. It is hitting older patient specially hard. The cdc says this season 198 out of everyone hundred thousand people over age 65 have been hospitalized with flurelated illnesses. Thats the highest number since the government began keeping track in 2005. Thats because older people are usually fighting the flu at a disadvantage. People who are 65 years of age and up tends to have other diseases like Heart Disease diabetes kidney disease, and also the immune system as we age doesnt work quite as well. Right now the flu is widespread in all but six states. And although this years vaccine not as Effective Health officials are still urging people to get vaccinated. The flu season can last until may. Well the philadelphia auto show opens its doors to the public in just a couple of hours. The annual tradition is a chance to see hundreds of cars all under one roof. We have some classics, good morning, nicole. You know, i know you were here last year, so you know this is one of the best assignments we as reporters at Channel Three get to do every single year. This is fantastic. We in the classic auto section, right now, we have kevin with the greater auto dealers of greater philadelphia with us. Just tell us, i mean, what this particular portion about when people come through here, they love checking out the classic vehicles right . Again, a sign of something for everybody, certainly classics, there has never been a portfolio of classic vehicles like you have at this years show, whether it it is the plymouth thunder bird or the hornet, just great place. Thats what i mean, there is concept, there is exotics classics. So we have the faceoff there. So wonderful scene that you can see new and old whether it is the cutting edge concept say from buick or you see 1949allard or the chevrolet nova ss. , got ot just great great atmosphere that we have at the show. So much to see. What, is there one car thats really unique that people get a chance to see that maybe they wouldnt be able to see anywhere else . Not just the car. Saturday morning is my favorite time of the show because those kids come in, and they she red ferrari, and i know santa came in december, ya, but santa does come in january, as women, when those eyes are wide open and they see that ferrari, one of my favorite times. But again the cool part is that you only see them on the internet or on magazines but at the show you can see them live and in person, just something really special. It is, really is. But it is bright beautiful and the moon is gorgeous, so if your window is situated, that you can see the moon, then look out. But if you dont have to go out, dont do it. Center city philadelphia, looks really really nice, at least first part this morning. The sun will be out too. So it is a bright day today with no clouds over us, one of the reasons that these temperatures bottomed out as they have. We will be finding bright, Beautiful Day all day long, tonight clouds move in little later on, then watch the next storm system start to come into this area. Well detail all of that. Thirteen in trenton right now 15 degrees in philadelphia, wilmington, 15 millville, 18 in wildwood, 15 degrees in atlantic city. These numbers are just chilling, even just to look at them, to be out in them, oh, just terrible. High pressure moves away right now, and then we will be waiting a day that after being calm today and it is calm for the first part of the day on sunday. We watch another storm system start to come in here. And it bridges variety of precipitation types. Anything from rain, to snow, and sleet, and ice. So depending on where you are i think it will be different. There are storm watches in effect in fact in some cases in our area. But they stretch all the way from the midwest. Look at des moines, and then you move overthrew the philadelphia area, and you find that they are well to the north and west of us. But it is through the Lehigh Valley and the poconos that that winter storm watch goes into effect and that is going to be as we go through sunday evening, until monday afternoon. Heres generally what we expect now. As i say every Weekend Storms evolve even when youre in them, but this is what it looks like right now that we, on sunday, on into monday, would be getting mainly snow. This is from the Lehigh Valley, points north some snow and rain, little sleet possibly mixed in through philadelphia mostly rain to the south. So much of new jersey and delaware would be in that. Now, amounts, coating to an inch maybe through south jersey, one to three through the philadelphia suburbs north, and to our south and east. And then three6 inches going into the upper bucks area. Get newspaper allentown and the poconos and you can be dealing with 6 inches plus of snow. So the higher amounts the higher up you go. Snowfall totals, we all love this. This is how it looks through 1 00 oclock in the morning on monday. And it says not much. Not even a inch of snow. None of the models think that that will be happening. But they start to make a little bit after departure by 2 00 on monday, the gfs says that we have just about an inch of snow. The euro says 5 inches. And the other two which ended up being the right ones for that last storm system, they put it at about 3 inches of snow and on sunday, but theyre saying not even a inch of snow through philadelphia. But again the euro says 5 inches, the gfs says one. I think generally you could say one to 3 inches through the philadelphia area. And some ice amount, as well, and thats as go through allentown, and quakertown, and maybe even in doylestown, and possibly out in reading, as well out of this system. So we will time this thing out as fast as we k i know were running out of time here. But i am show this. 3 00 we start to see it maybe tomorrow afternoon to the north, then as we go through time, look at this, it is rain through the southern areas on sunday evening little mix through philadelphia snow to the north and we watch that line move. But we get little wrap around snow also, coming up after that. So, let us see what we are dealing with. And that is that weve got some cold, cold, cold weather.
