Already, 31 americans have come back from that region with the virus. The alert is highest for pregnant women, a mid fears that zika could cause birth defect. The increase incidence of microcephaly is particularly alarming. On monday, the World Health Organization is planning an emergency meeting where they could declare zika an International Health emergency. Walking in with a smile on his face, Philadelphia Police officer, jesse hartnett, met friends, colleagues, and even complete strangers, who waited hours to see him at the fraternal order of Police Headquarters in northeast philadelphia. It was just a phenominal time, the way that we were just able to meet up with him, just to shake his hand, to say, hey, thank you very much. They set a goal last wednesday, to collect 10,000 bottles of water. And created the hashtag philly to flint. Within 48 hours, money and donations poured in, totalling roughly 06,000 bottles of water. We literally drove our big truck to the project and funded the whole project with water, knocking on doors, dropping them on their doorstep.
