Conditions are quiet as we look live from Center City Philadelphia looks ominous but as far as next couple hours we are a okay. Commute looking g as we head in the evening hours. We will start to see scattered downpours, overnight tonight, temperature 81, running below average but humidity has crept up and feels like 85 degrees when we factor in the humidity temperatures cool in the Lehigh Valley middle 70s, lower 70s in the poconos, zero sevens down the shore as well easterly component to the wind flow, temperature at 80 degrees, warmer spots in wilmington right now. So this time yesterday dew points were right around 60 degrees, lower 60s, up on the order of 10 degrees, dew points autopsy above that 70 degree threshold so certainly feels humid and sticky factor will stay with us through tonight, tomorrow and half of saturday as well, and rainfall we know just over the last week, check out some of these rainfall totals over 5 inches in dover, and doyletown approaching 4 inches , reading over three and a half inches and philadelphia, close to 2 inches and just last seven days and same case in Atlantic City we will add even more rainfall on top of that and that will pose that flooding threat as we head into friday night. So storm scan three showing us quiet conditions, scattered showers off to the north and east. More wet weather looking southwest of washington d. C. , and, and and, and downpours, and, and and sleeping weather overnight. And, rain, embedded thunderstorm activity, and, high temperatures, and, 85 degrees and quite warm, and high threats with this storm system will be that potential for heavy downpours and near torrential rainfall but we also will have an isolated threat for some damaging winds , highlight evening threat and we will have maryland rate threat of small hail across the area with this rainfall and embedded thunderstorm activity. Future weather showing us as we head in the evening hours quiet, another fear of hit or miss downpours especially west of the city overnight tonight, quiet storms, showers around early tomorrow morning. But your friday morning commute looking okay, converse ly for your friday evening commute areas of rainfall moving in, widespread in their coverage, and that will only increase as we head in the evening and overnight period, pockets of very heavy rainfall limiting visability, that continues into midnight, overnight period we will see more bold very bright colors, indicating that heavy rainfall , continuing, into saturday morning. Midday saturday and potentially we could still see period of rain as we head into saturday afternoon. Future rainfall amounts check this out as we head throughout this storm system. It will be very slow moving in nature. Rainfall will be heavy and it will be prolonged. Generally looking at two, three, 4 inches for most areas across the Delaware Valley. We will see lowest totals up toward Lehigh Valley and poconos and highest totals across portions of our shore points and delaware as well. Again, we could see thunderstorm activity and we are in the marginal risk of Severe Weather through day tomorrow and tomorrow night south of the city, south jersey and slight risk of severe wets cross southern delaware. It will be a tough go late day tomorrow, tomorrow night and for early saturday, saturday will be a cool start to the weekend that easterly wind flow temperature only 77 degrees but then improvement as we head into sunday, drying out sunshine, pops out, 80 degrees and check out that stretch as we head into next week.
