Storms on friday caused flood ing in part of our region take a look at this. This is what it look like in we missing berks county. These pictures are from russo food and market, show cars submerged in the market there. This is knee hobart avenue. Yes, the rain certainly coming down yesterday afternoon and evening when i was getting ready for bed, all be it thats at 6 00 and 7 00 p. M. In the evening, it was storm ing in my part of philadelphia. It was, im up in montgomery county, the same way, 6 00, 6 30, 7 00, it was quick but packed a punch for sure. And it wasnt just the problems there with the flood ing in we missing. These are storm reports from yesterday, at one point, up in berks county, we did have an occupied vehicle that was stuck in the high water. There was also up in berks count a landslide that was reported blocking route 737 up in the stoney run area. You see mt. Laurel there, over in jersey, trees were down, causing some power outages. Up in bucks county, 60mile per hour wind gusts, and also in the boards end town area, there was downed trees blocking route 130. So this was a storm system that as it came through, those strong gusty winds really caused some issues across the entire area. Here in the Delaware Valley, up into the Lehigh Valley, back into new jersey, as women the good news for us, though, all of that precipitation, that cold front, has pushed well away from us at this point. And we are looking at some quiet conditions here to start out the day. You see rehoboth. Little bit of moisture on our lens, Neighborhood Network camera. Thats because it is still very, very muggy outside. And dont be surprised if areas back down toward the pine barens, maybe up into the Lehigh Valley where temperatures could get little bit cooler here this morning, we see little bit of fog develop because there is still a lot of moisture in the air. Now, we just showed rehoboth beach, if you are headed down to the shore today, make sure you bring the sunglasses with you and the sunscreen. It will be a warm day. 88 degrees down at the shore, decrease in clouds going throughout the afternoon as well. Could see little bit of some cloudy skies here, earl early on in the day. But again, as the front continues to slide away, thats where we will see the sunshine common in. Taking a trip down to the tropics, we do still have Tropical Storm harvey, right now, moving about 21 miles an hour into the Caribbean Sea to the west, about 40mile per hour sustained winds, so this is still a system were continuing to watch. Now it, wont really affect the united states, but the uketon peninsula, central america, just got hit with their first Tropical Storm. Their first tropical system of the year. And it looks like we could get another one that slams into the mexican coastline here toward the middle of next week so you can see sunday, monday, tuesday, wednesday, moves through the caribbean, not expected to strengthen more than a Tropical Storm, but, of course, we are still going to be watching that, even if it doesnt affect us too much here in the Delaware Valley. Service analysis for us, there is still some cloud cover again, off the coastline, watching this secondary weak upper level trough. It will drop into the area as we go little bit later on today. And it could give maybe stray shower chance to some folks out into the far west and far north of philly going through the afternoon. Decrease in cloud cover, the chance for maybe stray shower, isolated rumble every thunder through the Lehigh Valley not completely ruled out, weak trough will be coming through, you see, going through the rest of the overnight hours, though, it will be quiet early on on our sunday, clear skies, that lasts all the way through the day. And by the time we get into monday, still looking pretty good. What that means is we will see sunshine for our eclipse day t does look like our forecast will remain clear. 90 degrees for our High Temperature today. It will feel little bit warmer than that because it is muggy. Eightyeight tomorrow. Then jan, check out monday. Sunshine for us, of course, eclipsefest comes to close monday, then 90s again in the forecast for tuesday, but i think a lot of folks will be excited that they can look up and see the eclipse monday.
