It was so still overnight, that any of the 39 degrees we managed to accomplish yesterday went right to up space. Right now, it is 17 degrees, and in nazareth. Nice looking out there, as long as youve got a heater on your side, and a pain of glass, because the other side outside it is cold out there this morning, foreman and beast. We have some dying out rain showers, or rather snow showers, off to the west. Our temperatures today, by noon, just 36 degrees, thats cold midday, and we should be keeping temperatures an agree or two higher than yesterday, 40 degrees, for our temperature later on this afternoon. New this morning, at least one car is involved in a crash in university city. It happened just after 2 00 near 30th and walnut st. At this hour, several passengers, along with a driver, are being treated at the hospital of the university of pennsylvania. Were toll they suffered only minor injuries, and the cause of the accident is under investigation. Well, the search for missing West Chester University student continues this morning at 10 00 oclock. The family of 21 year old shane motorcycle couldnt rim now offering 10,000 reward for any information that may lead to his whereabouts. He was last seen early thursday morning, at a manayunk bar. This is shane montgomery, senior at West Chester University. s five11, green eyes, last seen wearing that gray shirt. And hes been missing since 2 00 a. M. Thursday morning. Heart broken. There are no words, none. His mother, karen, father kevin, are struggling, stricken with the fear of what might have happened, but stoic, in pursuit of their mission. Pretty much exhausted, but just find the strength to keep going, we are going to find him. Thats the bottom line. They were joined in their search by dozens of volunteers, who fanned out across manayunk friday. Heres what they know so far. Around 1 45, thursday morning, shane got separated from his friends at kill dares public on main street, when he didnt come home, dad kevin pick up the phone. See if he got arrested. It happened just after 6 00 last night in the 9400 block of state road in torresdale. Police say the woman behind the wheel got confused, and accidentally drove through that storefront. No one was hurt. The pharmacy was closed. Ray rices indefinite suspension from the ffl for Domestic Violence now overturned. Rice is now free to play again. Cbs news correspondent begat shaban with more on the decision handed down by arbitrator this week. Ray rice is now free to get back on the football field if an nfl team is too long sign him. The League Suspended risin definitely two months ago, embattled running back appealed, and independent arbitrator found the indefinite sus opinion sean was abuse of discretion and must be vacated. Surveillance video showed rice in february dragging his now wife janaa palmer outside an elevator, after allegedly beating her unconscious. In july, the leagues commissioner, roger goodel, initially suspended rice for two games. But, in september, goodel increased the penalty to an indefinite suspension, when this second video showed rice punches his then fiancee. I think if im not mistake then is missile tow. Probably not. Well, welcome to Small Business saturday. Here live on main street. This is manayunk. It is a shop called latitude and longitude. Beautiful store here. You see a lot of trinkets, kind of described as a gift shop. It has got everything. It is very ac check particular. My mom would love this store. And it smells just really nice, a loft flowery smells in here. But the reason why were here is because obviously this is a Small Business on a main street in whats considered kind of small town america. And, you know, obviously black friday doesnt cover a place like this. So, years ago, few years ago, Small Business saturday came into creation, and it really benefits a place like this, right, meredith . This is merit the owner. So how did your store start . How did this all come together . So 15 years ago, i was i was a customer here. I fell in love with the place. And i became an employee and after that about three years ago i became the owner and i havent left ever since. Just love it. It is home. And thats the thing. These arent big boxes, this is small local thing, benefits local, most of the stuff in here, you said, is actually made in the country. Yes. And it benefits the local community. So, what is Small Business saturday for maybe for people who dont get it . Small business saturday focuses on all of the Small Businesses that are across the country, and a lot of people dont get to see usually, and it just kind of focuses on us local, you know, specially in manayunk, we have a lot of things here, and a lot of businesses. Sure. And i mean there is no lines out the door. Youre not having a big block buster sales, right. So what exactly how does it benefit i guess the customer . Benefits the customer because theyre shopping small. And it is my normal regular customers who come in all the time, and it is just happy, a good place to see their face and it benefits them because the people to people basically. I want that. Isnt that great . Like the spirit of giving. It is what the Holiday Season is really b you come in, you shop local, you get anything you need and you see the local community. My daughters twisted my arm and got me out here. But, in the end, at the kay said she glad she came out on black friday at the depford mall. Though, this black friday, looked a little different. As bad as you thought were the crowds . Not add bad. Found lot of people, not the usual crowds, where it is hard to walk. One reason may be because local malls opened 6 00 thursday night and stayed open straight through 10 00 oclock friday night. Been working since 7 00 p. M. On thanksgiving. You heard that right. We met carly sips on her 23rd hour of work. She has three jobs, and says, it was her choice to pull the marathon shift. I heard a ive had a lot of caffeine. Couple double shots of expresso. Says opening thanksgiving day is a big problem. It ruins the tradition. You know, traditionally the way the way it is supposed to be done, day after thanksgiving, you go, you get excited 6 00 in the morning. Now if you get to a place at 6 00 in the morning, you may have missed out on your chance to find that low price. I used to work at target. And we used to get tons of people in the morning. Now that rush isnt there no more. There is no more fun to it. Some say opening the night before is a good thing. Because the new black friday may mean less people. I thought it was going to be like a lot, a lot of people. Like i thought it was going to be like thousands of people. But it is not really bus. Two young boys, burried in a pile of snow, for hours. Now were hearing from these brave cousins. How they say they managed to survive until help arrived. And 20 degrees in trenton. The temperatures so cold, and 16 in quakertown, and if youre in mt. Holly, youve got 20 degrees this morning, 24 willow grove, 19 degrees in pottstown, it is a morning that you will be in a lot of layers. Ski pants, whether you ski or not, take my own personal experience, theyre so warm, theyre the best. Theyre something that you should buy if youre going to be spending any time outside even not looking for snow it, will keep the cold away greatly. And these temperatures, this morning, so much colder, even than yesterday morning. 11 degrees colder down in millville, through the heart of south jersey. It is 8 degrees colder through philadelphia. 9 degrees colder up in the allentown area this morning. So, when you are out, jackets on, and pets in. Let them watch you out the window.
