Reporter jessica, a resident here in stafford township called police around 9 00 this morning reporting odor of gas and crews responded to shut off the the gas but it was an hour and a half later that the house on oak lane exploded, injuring 15 people including gas workers and sending two of them to the hospital in critical condition. The view from chopper three shows fire and smoke rising from the scorched area where it once stood. Within two minutes of that the walls shook, my pictures came off lines came off the wall stuff out of the cabinets and it was just chaos from there. Reporter chief jack johnson was a First Responder on the scene and trying to locate the source of the leak when the explosion happened. I described it, it happened so quickly, that the explosion, it had debris all around us just coming from no where. I felt like we werent really kept informed as much as we should have been considering it was only three houses from where we were.
