Philadelphia police are trying to solve the Fatal Shooting after 16 year old boy in Strawberry Mansion. It happened yesterday evening, as he and another friend were riding bikes on the 2200 block of west sedgley avenue. Eyewitness News Reporter justin finch joins us now at Police Headquarters with that story and more information for us, good morning. Reporter erika, good morning, detective say those two teens were targeted. Now they are trying to figure out who opened fire on them, and why. And what police say at this time, they dont have a motive, they are not ruling out road rage. Say somebody got shot. Reporter emanuel open door Holy Ministry church in Service Sunday afternoon when shots were fired outside their door. Members didnt hear them. But they did see the rush to save a young life. I thought it was, you know, ambulance going past. And we came out, just saw this shocking. Shocking 16 year old boy was shot death near their church where they say they felled safe. Seventeen shots at 15 to 16 year old, an awful lot of shots. Target Police Say Two teens boys ages 15 and 16 riding along the 2200 block of west sedgley avenue just after 4 30 p. M. Sunday, when the sound of gunfire cracked. Police were in the area, heard the gunshots, immediately began to survey the area. Police fawn the 16 year old shot and helped get him to temple hospital where he died short time later. Authority say the teen victim and 15 year old boy were riding in the center of sedgley, when silver buick suddenly stopped in front of them. Police say the boy pedaled past. Got further along sedgley avenue they in the dollars that the same buy hick pulled exit from the rear and stood next to the trunk. The complaint and the at the time believed something bad was about to happen, they noticed two males, began shooting at them. The 15 year old managed to escape unharmed, and now working with homicide detective. And the 16 year old who died is not yet been identified. But police say that both teens live in that Strawberry Mansion neighborhood. This morning now looking for the silver buick, dark tint, leaving the scene. Also two male s, onuspecte described a black male, dark skin, and also wearing dark hoodie, also opened fire on those teens. Theyre also looking for two Surveillance Video of the area which they hope will have video of that shooting as it happened happened. The victims wife tells police, the man shot her husband several times in the head, and he died about a half hour later. Police believe the motive stemmed from previous fight. Camden county police hope you can help them find a missing teen. Police say 16 year old john harris reported missing saturday night from his home on the 2700 block every mikhail avenue. He is described as a hispanic male, about 5 feet tall, with brown hair and brown eyes. If you have any information on where he may be, you are asked to call police. Fire broke out on halloween night at Plymouth Park and the. Damaged hydrant coupled with no sprinklers, caused that fire to spread quickly. One woman died in that fire.
