Two northeast Philadelphia High School students are arrested, after allegedly attacking a teacher this morning. Officers say that the male, ninth and tenth grade a assaulted the teacher at George Washington high school after that teacher confiscated a cell phone. Teacher was hospitalized a a precaution. It happened saturday when a driver crash on the street in south jersey close to where customers were shopping for christmas trees. Reporter customers heard the boom as well as some of the staff here at the Clover Garden center helping out, those people getting their christmas trees, woman veered off the road went in the pole here and knocked down the wires. Now employees, Vincent Robinson said he knows it was not safe to go out to the woman in the car but he doesnt regret doing it. I heard a big explosion, boom, boom. Reporter vincent says he was as shocked as anyone to see a driver trapped in this car cased in live wires and down transformer. State officials ape Fire Fighters came together today to call honorary knew Health Benefits for 9 11 responders. Eyewitness news at garden of reflection 9 11 memorial where pennsylvania congressman Mike Fitzpatrick called on congressional leaders to reauthorize the bill that benefits the First Responders who were injured from toxins at ground zero. Fitzpatrick says this program expired in september and soon all of the money will run out if congress does not act quickly. For thousands of those First Responders 14 years later the impact of 9 11 is still felt. The burden is still carried a as they suffer from illnesses and medical complications from cancer, to respiratory disease, caused by ground zero toxins. Eighteen bucks county residents were killed in the september 11th terror attacks. Hundreds of other residents responded or volunteered at ground zero, that day.
