Snow showers look worse sometimes then they are. It is very light to snow, currently falling here in the Broadcast Center and Del Marva Peninsula, up and down i95 but do expect that the aftermath of this storm system will continue to full retreat. Aftermath issues will come into play where you run into pockets of ice, and anything that was wet, damp from yesterday has had a chance to refreeze now that the temperatures dropped off. Afternoon it is mainly wet, temperatures rise ago about freezing for at least the afternoon but tonight we will fall if to that zone where we are below freezing. Mid 20s overnight. You can see a streak of snow starting to dip south here eventually we are going to see another system push on through to reenforce chill. This first one reenforce is it on its own. High pressure build in thursday and friday before another system comes along to reenforce that cold. As it does so, it will send temperatures on a downward spiral bringing a light snow shower friday night into saturday. When we talk about the chill that is on the way with two blasts of cold essentially here we will have temperatures from 15 to 20 degrees below seasonal average. The majority of the seven day features temperatures that dont hit 30 let alone freezing mark. Saturday, sunday valentines weekend definitely coldest. The thinks coldest air we have experienced this season. Another head liner for potentially next week with a new storm that might be brewing at this point, it looks like it is a tuesday concern but timing off similar with what we had this past week here.
