Reporter good morning, jan we have learned that the person involve in the Rowan University Police Officer, take a look at video from the accident scene. Glass blow police say a passing car hit the officer, on the 300 block of mullica road, around 10 last night on route 322. Officers enclosed off at year between girard and heston road while they investigated. Authorities are not releasing that officers name. New this Morning Police are investigating an overnight shooting at the roxy nightclub in Philadelphia Police were called out to the club on North Delaware avenue right around, 2 30 this morning. We are told victims leg was grazed by a bullet, officers took care of that victim and treated him for minor Injuries Police are searching for a gunman and motive. Also new this morning a woman is in Critical Condition after she shot in the chest in the cities kensington section. This shooting happened at 700 hilton street, and officers got the call shortly after 1 00 this morning and rushed the 24 yearold victim to the hospital. At last check police are still looking for a suspect and no known motive at this time. Police are also investigating a shooting in fair hill that put three men in the hospital. That gunfire erupted at hope and cambria streets around 9 00 last night. A 28 yearold man was shot twice, another 28 yearold man was shot five times, both are now in Critical Condition, this morning. A 24 yearold man is in stable condition and shot in the stomach. So far no arrest. In the cities mantua section a carries shot up, and shell casings littered the ground there. This was all found in the 3800 block of mount vernon street, were told a call came in around midnight but when Police Arrived to that scene no one was in or around that car. Investigators are looking for a suspect anyone with any information is asked to call the Philadelphia Police department. It started as police round up of illegal dirt bikes and a tvs in philadelphia and it continued in upper dash which a police chase that ended in a hit and run. Now a six yearold little girl and grandmother are in the hospital. Police tell us a person of interest is in custody. Eyewitness news reports leash a nieves brings us up to date during this investigation Reporter Police pursuit of the dirt bike riding illegally in the street ended up with a six yearold girl and her grandmother getting caught in the cross hairs. They were just on the sidewalk and come out getting ready to cross the street and that is when that happened. Reporter dirt bike being chased out of philadelphia at some point crossed in to upper darby and barreled down the busy 69th street. It was passing cars, by ride ago long the double yellow line in the middle of the road , near a pedestrian crossing, the dirt bike slammed into the child, and then her grandmother. They went flying in the air and then he flew off the bike. Reporter dirt bike driver seemingly unfaced left a six yearold girl and grandmother in the middle of the street and continued to try and evade authorities. The operator of this Motor Vehicle gets off of it, with a knife and pulled a knife out a carjacks a a vehicle. Reporter that vehicle was abandon a few blocks away and driver managed to flee again. For us, a lot of people are coming forward to say what they saw. Hopefully we will get the perpetrator. That could have been my family. People on these dirt bikes they dont care about protection or anything like that because we are down the street. Reporter Upper Darby Police say they have a person in custody but they are just questioning. He was found in the wooded area not far from where the stolen car was abandoned but so far no charges have been filed against him. We are told officers took 30, atvs off the street and made three felony arrests. New this morning, a power outage in philadelphias fishtown section leaves thousands of people in our area in the dark. Crews are working to restore complete power in that area. The lights went out just before midnight. We are told outage knocked out the lights for 10,000 customers there and at last check in word on what caused the power outage. Well, pope francis is delivering his easter message and blessing to the world. We are looking at st. Peters square at vatican city where tens of thousands as tended mass.
