Justin, tracking rain but certainly nothing like that. That is part of the same storm system bringing showers to our region but later this afternoon, through Tuesday Morning we will see a threat for showers. It is in the raining all the time just off and on showers. We will time it out. But this morning were waking up to some cloud cover at the sign of the a approaching storm system. A gray start. Calm, glassy conditions on the delaware river. So we are dealing with light wind this morning, pretty comfortable outside with milder temperatures. Rain returns later today and start of the workweek. We have a brief cool down coming at us but still our temperatures, are feeling like spring, it stays above average, the next couple of days and spring does, one week, march 20th, next sunday at 2 30 in the morning, we will have 12 hours and ten minutes of daylight on the first day of spring. Mid 40s in the cooler spots this morning to 50 degrees. Every where else around philadelphia, parts of the south jersey a and delaware and there is mild air all across the ohio valley. With this storm system. It will be cooler because we have cloud, showers but still low 50s where we should be for this time of the year. We have a good shot of reaching 60. Bulk of the rain well to the west, western pennsylvania, out toward ohio, so that core of the system is still out across the ohio valley. It takes sometime to get here. It should pass through our region during the day on monday and then finally exit our region early Tuesday Morning. We have a couple of stray showers possible, early this morning, northern delaware, parts of the chester county, and then maybe to extreme south jersey but bulk of the rain should move in later this afternoon after 3 00 oclock. So sunday afternoon through Tuesday Morning we are under the gun for rain at times, steady rain, monday morning through about midday. About a half inch but some locations could pick up an inch of rainfall throughout the entire system and then watch out for slower monday commutes especially morning commute on monday when we can see steady rain. That wind will be off of the ocean so it will be cooler. Heres the reason why we are having this rain threat until tuesday this low does not move much at all over the next 24 hours. It is still over yes valley. We have a front over yours. Pockets of rain moving through the first half of monday, still showers, for monday afternoon, monday night, and then finally Tuesday Morning, the storm will move off shore, and still left with some cloud, maybe a stray shower, early tuesday, and then finally we will see clearing skies. So here we go, at 5 00 oclock, steadier showers, moving in from the south and west, and they will be off and on at times overnight, 3 00 a. M. We are still looking at wet weather and then early on monday morning, morning drive, seven or 8 00 oclock, steady shores across south jersey and off and on rain, throughout monday afternoon throughout the evening hours and then, things taper off. Heres overall amounts about a half an inch. Through Tuesday Morning, best areas that could reach 1 inch closer toward central, delaware, parts of the south jersey and if you get stuck under a heavier shower. Look at the temperatures today. Still up around 60 degrees. Still mild. Noticeably cooler with that flow off the water, temperatures in the 40s to lower 50s at best. If you like mild temperatures enjoy today, watch out for showers, later on this afternoon into the evening hours, off and on showers tonight, low of 46. Heres that extended forecast, that cool down tomorrow, high of only 53. We are back in the lower 60s on tuesday, wednesday, and that is the day, guys, 70 a with some sunshine.
