This morning a neighborhood is in shock, a man is stabbed in rittenhouse square. Kyw news radio reporter cherri gregg is live at the scene where police are piecing together just what happen. Reporter good morning, rahel, Philadelphia Police say a a 24 yearold man was stabbed right there outside of 1830 luxury high rise condominium right here in rittenhouse square. Patricks day weekend and somehow got in an argument here with another man who slashed him in the chest with a knife. The suspect fled south on 19th street and then east on manning. The victim was rush to Hahnemann Hospital where he was pronounced dead and 3 30 this morning. Homicide detectives and crime scene unit just wrapped up here after collecting items on the scene including the coat, a Good Samaritan used to try to save victim.
