We spoke to Community Members who are now, of course, are asking why . Why . Why . What happened . It is a haunting question. Family, friends asking how the man that gave live to five year old tion styles could easily take it away. To turn around and do this to his son, i couldnt understand that. Reporter police say 26 year old tyrell styles shot and kit klee injured his mother, 26 year old washington. Before turning the gun on his own son. Then after a police chase, he shot himself. It just hurts. The hurts a lot. Police got the call after 11 00 saturday night to a home in ridley township. It was shortly after a party for washingtons nephew at her sisters home. Thats when styles came to the home to pick up his son washington went to the backyard to retrieve him. When police say without warning he pulled a 9millimeter handg handgun. There was in signs of anything that was going to happen or anything that was going wrong. Reporter Surveillance Video obtained by cbs3 shows styles driving off moments before officers arrived. He led police on a car chase causing on accident. Injuring two people before endinendingenending in cull is n sharon hill. He was good guy. No trouble. Patricia says shes known styles since he was boy. Every time i saw him, he would always talk about his son. She grew up on this block. She was born on this block. Reporter across town the neighborhood block captain darnell lalanne says she watched both them grow up. He was so sweet. He was so tiny and sweet. Reporter lives forever changed in a flash of violence. Why . You know, we dont understand why . Reporter and you see now they just lit the candles once again the prayer circle formed around as family and friends gather to remember the lives of young see i dont know. He was killed in that very spot where this memorial is growing and this vigil has form. Were hearing his mother remains in the hospital in critical condition. Now the vehicle had been carjacked. Lot of control at germantown and allegheny in tioga. The realtor who was carjacked was also hurt in this crash. A vigil was held for the victims at the scene last night. A 110,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the the arrest of these two suspects. Flames broke out about 2 00 oclock this morning on the 900 block of West Huntington street. Police officers helped an elderly man and young the front door but the mans wife was upstairs in the bedroom. Neighbors helped to break her fall when she jumped out of the window trying to escape the flames. Really felt, you know, bad to see her stuck like that between, not knowing whether to run through the fire or jump out this window and put her life in a strangers hands. Thats what she d she put her lives in my hands. Reporter all three people made it out of the burning home. The elderly couple was treated at temple hospital for smoke inhalation. And a fire in northeast philadelphia sent two kids to the hospital. This happened about 5 30 this morning on the 1300 block of eldrich street in oxford circle. Heavy fire was coming from the first floor when crews arrived on that scene. Two children ages seven and nine were transported to torresdale hospital in stable condition. Treated for smoke inhalation. The man at the center of the Medical Center shooting has been formally charged now with the murder of his social worker theresa hunt, also, at itemed hurt of his psychiatrist dr. Lee silverman scene here being carted away on stretcher. 49 year old richard plots was arraigned while still in his hospital bed. You can pick out that front a line extending from michigan down towards western ohio thats the front with showers and storms. Then out ahead of it a little pieces of energy high in the atmosphere that are triggering off clusters of showers and thunderstorms. We have the front one right now around the harrisburg area. Thats fear moving northeast that could clip areas of northern berks county, Lehigh County in the next couple of hours into the poconos that probably stays clear of philadelphia and south jersey but notice more to the south and west near West Virginia that could impact our area coming in through the overnight hours and ill time that out for in you a little bit. Most of the area into the mid atlantic and northeast under a Severe Threat tonight for the areas shaded in yellow. Severe thunderstorm potential obviously heavy rain but damaging winds 60 Miles Per Hour or higher.
