On the final friday of winter it hasnt been bad. If you look at the cloud base, raindrops falling out onto the ground. You know one of the reasons why it is tough to get snowfall in spring is there is a difference between went and spring snowstorms. First of all you see a dryer typically more powdery snow in temperatures. Entire atmosphere. Warmer ground. Already out of the gate, you have less of a chance of piling up snow total in spring unless you have a perfect storm track and especially if a lot of the snow comes during the nighttime hours. Both have in question with this storm. Through the day tomorrow obviously the nicer half of the weekend cooler, sunshine mixing with clouds, especially high clouds during the afternoon. Southernmost new jersey could have a raindrop by the end of the day. Showers reaching the ground and sprinkles starting to wither away already. A couple of flurries from the air moving nthis is the sort of unorganized area of heavy rainfall and snow that will continue solid date into a storm off the carolina coast saturday night into sunday initially this rain over st. Louis is going to streak out, ahead of the main storm and we may see snow on say dc by tomorrow afternoon but i think the initial batch is going to stay to the south. The believe it or not. There are a bunch of great collections here. I did not know they had a great baseball collection. It was from that someone stole a bat joe dimaggio used during his 56 game hitting streak. Its wrong, but thats not creepy. The other thing they stole, two real human shrunken heads, okay, thats creepy. Tucked in among the twin trunked elephants and the two headed cows at ripleys believe it or not in times square is interesting room in the oddatorium as they call it, the baseball room with great memorabilia, much from yankees legends, but just down the hall is something genuinely creepy. We take and shrink the heads as trophies. As a human head. Reporter folks at ripleys claim, in fact, they have the biggest collection of genuine real shrunken heads in the world, which you know, may be true because who else would collect them . It seems both the shrunken head room and the baseball room were recently robbed. A couple days ago we noticed that the joe dimaggio autographed bat and ball from his 1941 streak, the no. 17 bat, was not the correct item. We realized it was fake. Reporter someone replaced the joe dimaggio bat with a fick one. Balls autographed by joe dimaggio and ted williams were stolen. On their own theyre not worth that much. We still have the certificates of authenticity, so whoever has tape these, theres no way theyll taken these, theres no way theyll be able to sell them for what theyre worth. Reporter it doesnt seem the areas were robbed by the same person. Any market out there for shrunken heads . Not that im personally aware of. Reporter both items should be pretty easy to find if anybody ever does try to sell them on the open market. The problem theyre having right now here is that they dont really know what the thefts happened. They noticed them missing on wednesday, but they have three weeks of
