This is after every officer walked off the job today, protesting the reinstatement of the chief who was under a state investigation. Reporter the decision is a two parter. As you mentioned the chesterfield sheriff has been named the temporary chief Law Enforcement official here in pagelandment he will provide officers and oversight. The chief of police will work under the direction of the sheriff and with town officials to get staffing addressed.
