Speed got too high and the vehicle lost control of the vehicle and had a bad accident serious injuries. And police again say leaving a vehicle with the engine on and unattended is never a good idea. Tonight we are hearing from the girlfriend of one of the Victims Police have not said whether the shootings are related. The first happened after 4 30 yesterday afternoon on brookshire boulevard. An hour later two people were road. Around 8 00 p. M. There was another shooting nearby on barrington drive. And then threeandahalf hours later, a fourth shooting on brook tree drive. Brody oconnell spoke with neighbors who are concerned for their safety and joins us live with more. Maureen spending time in the communities i have to tell you its sad. You have the victims dealing with their injuries trying to recover and the rest of the neighborhood living in fear just praying that the violence will come to an end. Barrington drive was lit up with flashing lights tuesday night. Police arrived on scene after sierra ferguson found her boyfriend harry brown shot and bleeding on a sidewalk. We spoke with ferguson byhone she was in the hospital where brown is now recovering. They told me the surgery went great and put a rod in his leg. Full recovery but with a gunman on the loose ferguson fears there could be another attack. Im praying and hoping that with everything going on because the police did say some people could retaliate again and try and get him again. But im going to stay low key for now and out of the way over there. And ferguson is not the only one living in fear. Sharon caldwell returned home to brook tree drive in northwest charlotte last night and was greeted by this crime scene. Her neighbor had been shot. And with the spike in violence in this neighborhood caldwell says she is ready to move. Its time for me to move. Because its rough wherever you go but this is rough over here. Like the other shootings tuesday, the gunman at brook tree drive has not been arrested. Caldwell has a message. Get your life together. Get it together and turn it over to god
