And its probably switched to rain or dried up as the first batch of moisture moving quickly through the viewing area. Temperatures outside of the mountains are in the mid40s. A little bit rare to have snow at this temperature. But we are not expecting any accumulation outside of the mountains. And in the mountains its looking like less as far as accumulations go compared to what it was looking like at this time yesterday. So there is the overview. Will take the clouds off so you can see the precipitation and in the mountains a break from the snow showers for the time being. Everything has pressed east at this point. From gastonia up towards the lake and into salisbury where you did have a brief burst of wet snowflakes for you its all moving east now. And again, that was the anomaly the areas that did see wet snow Everything Else light rain and the bulk of this moisture now for the most part is along and east of the 85 corridor. As we head through the rest of will be southern sections that will continue to see the most rain from charlotte south. And some of the rain is sticking around as late as midnight but it will not be a Long Duration event. The spots where we are anticipating light snow in the mountains. The rallies involve people upset over the voter id law it requires a governmentissued id to cast a ballot. It ace says it will protect the voting process, the n. A. A. C. P. Says the law will make it harder for some to vote. Steve crump is live. And i understand people there feel this is an issue about absolutely, jamie. And the weather playing a factor. We are live from little rock Ame Zion Church and they have moved activities inside. They plan on marching over to Central Piedmont Community college to protest Voter Suppression laws. By 1 00 p. M. On the Central Piedmont CommunityCollege Campus nearly 120 people had voted early. While the numbers here were steady during the day, poll workers say no major issues. And those hitting the ballot box showed up with the required documentation in hand. As we were training this past year, everybody said well, most people coming in with the id out anyway. Expecting to have to show it prior to the photo id law. We do not think it is going to be a big deal. But it was a big deal before being enacted. General assembly signed by governor mccrory challenged in the courts and protested during moral monday. Compliance came on day one of the new rules. It was super easy. They just give it to you. Hopefully everybody is aware of it and nobody is taken by now, early voting is scheduled to end on march 12th. The primary happens on march 15th. But you can imagine the issue of voter id is something we will continue to hear throughout the campaign season. Steve crump wbtv on your side. I bet we will. The process getting underway, thank you. We have a very, very Dynamic Party and i think we will be able to unify the party i hope to be able to get along with noorve you heard it from donald trump. He hopes to unify the g. O. P. But can he . Several Republican Leaders are not buying it. Representative mark sanford said he will not support trump and some say if 60 of the party does not want him it could mean a battle at the convention. What do voters think . Those who support him say republicans making the choice to not nominate him would be going against the will of the voters is the best person to represent their party in november. I think trump has the best shot to make the change rather than rubio or cruz or another run of the mill candidate. Trump has a shot to do Something Different without a political background interest there is a tremendous amount of people that voted for him republican or democrat or independent. So i think he could. I think he could win. Other voters tell us they do not think trump could win against clinton or sanders and they do not see a path to victory if trump is not nominated by the republican party.
