This has been a threeman race all night long and now with ted cruz and marco rubio locked in a tie for second the voters have spoken and there is now also one less candidate in this race. Cbs news projects donald trump has won the South Carolina republican primary. He came out ahead of ted cruz and marco rubio but only a few points separate the top three. I want to begin by thanking the people of South Carolina. This is a special state. Jeb bush finished in the bottom three.
