The satellite radar picture shows a few showers out there. Light rain along the coast and show showers pushing to the north and east. We have a little bit of a wintery mix out there in the north. This is all part of the system that produced some heavy snow in the midwest. No snow out of that system, but we could see some soaking rain, then a little bit of a wintery mix and then some snow flakes mixing in. Before that, hour by hour, the temperatures jump intoog the 50s and we have a soaking rain all the way through i will have the hour by hour forecast showing you when and where it will be coming in. We could hardly wait. Wove some breaking news this morning, a bomb threat forced a Turkish Airlines to new york city to die vert in canada. Police dogs were used to search the plane and the Royal Mounted Police would not comment on any details of the threat. Of course, this comes amid heightened tensions from the paris attack. A fire rips through a hyde park area sending several residents and firefighters to the hospital. The firefighters had to prop up ladders to rescue people from the building. The firefighters had to work quickly as a natural gas line was fueling the flames. When she opened the basement door, smoke just came from everywhere. Reporter intense flames and smoke came from the house at 9 greenwood avenue. Four adults were rescued by a ladder. When you get calls of children in the building and people in the building, rather than fighting the outside fire, you get them out. The guys did a great job. All i knew was when i got the phone call they were taking my mother to the hospital. I was so scared. Reporter in all, five residents and two firefighters were taken to the hospital. The home is just about a total loss just a couple of days before thanksgiving. It always seems that people lose theyre home before thanksgiving. We just lost my dad a couple of months ago and his ashes are in there and all of his pictures. We lost everything. Reporter the fire crew was worried about the Structural Integrity of the house. In fact, a building inspector is expected to be called to the scene this morning to look at the house. As of late last night, we have been still wait on the condition of the five civilians and the two firefighters we were injured in the fire.
