Reporter because here in phoenixville, that story of rebirth is so deeply ingrained that each year they have a fire bird ceremony, making a bonfire out of a large wooden statue. The arsonists got the Party Started at 3 00 in the morning and all that was left was quite fittingly black ash. The rebirth. Reporter and by sundown with thousands surrounding the new phoenix of phoenixville, organizers lit the match. It was a Community Effort that sprung up out of nowhere. New at 11 00, a 10,000 reward is offered to find those responsible for torching three churches in kent county, delaware. This fire gutted the Healing Hands Christian Church in felton early this week. Within hours, two more church fires erupted nearby. The pastor at manship chapel tells nbc 10, his congregation will be able to worship in a modified space tomorrow. We now know the identity of man killed in a hitandrun while crossing the street in montgomery county. Two vehicles struck the victim and both drivers took off. It happened around 11 30 last night an rambo street in bridgeport. Tom daly was first hit by a Ford Explorer and then a lincoln cadillac suv struck him. Neither driver stopped. Police are looking for Surveillance Video of that hitandrun. A gruesome find on a north philadelphia street. A neighbor discovers a body on the 2400 block of north sydenham. Police say the man had been shot and stabbed and was likely dumped there. Investigators are trying to determine who he is and the circumstances surrounding his death. Tonight, were learning more about the failed mission to rescue an american hostage from al qaeda in yemen. This mornings raid was the second rescue attempt in as many weeks to free luke somers. Navy s. E. A. L. S closed in on the building where somers was held and a gun battle began. Military Officials Say the s. E. A. L. S killed six to nine al qaeda members. Once in the building, they found somers and a South African hostage apparently shot by their captors. Both were airlifted to a u. S. Navy ship but died of their wounds. The u. S. Is calling it murder. Three children murdered by their mother were laid to rest in south jersey today. Friends and family came together for Funeral Services in tabernacle burlington county. Investigators say Jeannine Lepage shot nadia, alexander and Nicholas Harriman inside their home. They all died.
