Reporter jackie witnesses tell me the father of three was walking his dog on the sidewalk around the corner to his drive way, in the middle of these storms and thats where the lightning struck. Witnesses say it was like this. Times 10. It was so not like anything ive ever heard. Its terrifying. Neighbors say the father of three and his dog were caught outside when a quick moving storm formed over head. Marple Township Police dont believe it was a direct hit. But it was enough to knock the man unconscious. He complained about tingling in his legs. He walked out and got on the gurney and went in the ambulance. Friends and loves ones gathered outside his house, recalling the quick moving storm. Yeah thats scary. We were outside just moments before that. She rushed her two young kids inside. Thats a scary thought. Police say the man may have suffered a medical emergency when the lightning struck, he did not have any burns on his body hes at the hospital being checked out.
