It will last through the end of the year. Governor Chris Christie called for an end to the use of common core standards. He made the case that the standards have brought confusion and frustration. They spell out what Academic Skills students should master at each grade level. He stopped short of announcing a wholesale abandonment of the program but he did say theyre not working.
