Mayer has been suspended with pay, pending further investigation. Detectives with the Prosecutors Office are reviewing those images and videos but they tell us there is no evidence to lead them to believe that any students were videotaped anywhere else other than that single classroom. They want parents of the students if they feel they were victimized to please come forward. Cydney long, nbc10 news. A shooting sent three people to a philadelphia hospital this afternoon. Skyforce10 over the scene on the 2500 block of ingersoll street. Nbc10 was there as two victims arrived at Temple University hospital. Officers carried one man out of their cruiser and onto a stretcher. Another arrived in a mini van and whisked inside. Police say all three men are in stable condition right now. Officers recovered a gun at the scene. We just checked and no one has been arrested. 20 minutes of nonstop news continues with this. Shocked on the job. Two philadelphia firefighters battling a fire in north philadelphia injured when their ladder came in contact with a high voltage line. Both survived. Nbc10s Rosemary Connors is live at Temple University hospital where the firefighters were taken for treatment. How are those firefighters doing right now . Reporter they are both in stable condition here at the Emergency Department. One of them will be released later on today. The other who suffered more serious injuries will stay overnight for observation. Both firefighters have fiancees. One has a daughter. All of the families were here today grateful that this did not end in tragedy. It was unbelievable sight. Reporter witnesses describe the moment two firefighters received a shock after their metal ladder touched an electrical wire just five feet from the house where the crews had just extinguished a small fire in north philadelphia this morning. The department was getting ready to pull the ladary way from the house. The ladder hit the very first hot wire above and the fireman one fireman that was Still Holding onto the ladder he went from holding the ladder position to his body straightened up, stiffened up and he felt right back onto the ground. Reporter the 14year veteran of the department landed on this mattress but suffered thirddegree burns to his feet. Another member of his crew a nineyear veteran, got shocked as well but not as badly. This could have been a much worse incident when you think about it. So, those members are blessed. Like i say we operate in this environment, everything is good. Reporter still wearing their gear from this morning, fellow firefighters from engine 45 and ladder 14 came to Temple University hospital to check on their comrades even though it was a minor fire the commissioner says no call is necessarily routine. Thats the one thing about the fire. Have you to understand any given day, you may not go home. Reporter again, fortunately, not the case here. Both men expected to make a full recovery. On a final note, the commissioner tells me both men were operating as they should have been. They should have been taking down the ladder appropriately, which is what they did. It all began around 10 00 last night in the 2200 block in south harwood avenue in upper darby. The situation continued into the early morning. Police tell us a man shot his neighbor in the shoulder then barricaded himself in the victims house. A s. W. A. T. Team used flashbang grenades to subdue the suspect and arrest him. Now william dean is charged with several offenses, including aggravated assault. Nbc10 spoke exclusively with the victim about his relationship with dean. He was a good dude up until now. Hes charged in the disappearance and murder of his wife. Today investigators tell nbc10 the suspect had help. Nbc10s jacqueline london is live in our digital operation center. Explain the latest twist to this case. Authorities tell us they arrested kyle crosbys mother. Now, detectives say she helped her son hide the murder of his wife appear he committed the crime. 67yearold jo crosby is charged with hindering, apprehension and tampering physical evidence by destroying records. Becauseth because the investigation is ongoing, authorities arent saying exactly what the suspect did. In a statement Burlington County prosecutor told us, in part we believe jo crosby played a major role in helping her son kyle conceal the crime of murder. Police arrested kyle crosby january 13th and charged him with murder in the death of his wife Erica Crippen. He remains behind bars. Crippen disappeared on new years eve. Her body has not yet been found. Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Erica Crippen is, of course asked to contact police. Authorities hope they finally got him for murder. Thats the voice of robert durst heard on tape saying he killed them all, of course. Those words uttered with a microphone on during the filming of an hbo series about them. Durst has been linked to three murders in three states. In fact the law enforcers who arrested robert durst right here in the Lehigh Valley 14 years ago say they hadnt even thought about him until his arrest this past weekend. Our Patrol Officer got a call for a shoplifter in custody. Reporter detective gary hammer remembers a small man in his late 50s brought into police in 2001. Several hundred dollars he had in his pocket. He had a sizeable amount in his car. And i believe it was a sandwich a newspaper and some bandaids he had stolen out of the box itself. He had so much cash on him, thousands and thousands of dollars of cash and yet he wouldnt pay for a hoagie and, you know resulted in his apprehension, so, you know, hes a bizarre guy. There was speculation, perhaps, body parts could be found in this vehicle. That was not the case. Reporter durst was extradited and later acquitted in that dismemberment case and was free until his arrest in new orleans over the weekend. Killed them all, of course. Reporter after an offcamera confession captured on an hbo wireless microphone linked him to the 2000 murder of his friend susan berman. I was glad to see, you know they were able to link him to that case. Reporter both detective hammer and john morgan know robert durst has had nine lives. Not guilty. Weve been through this before. So, were not really certain what the outcome is going to be again. Reporter and he says the one thing that stood out about robert durst is that he didnt stand out. Taking out a utility pole around 6 00 in the morning. Officers sent us several picks of the aftermath. They believe the driver was in a white pickup possibly a ford with a snowplow set up. The crash knocked out electricity and capable to some customers. Police shut down the intersection for a while so repairs could be made. Police in ocean county are looking for the driver in a deadly hitandrun that killed a 27yearold man. Jeffrey michele was walking on route 37 near fisher boulevard and toms river friday night. Authorities tell us the person who hit him was driving a blue Jeep Wrangler like you see here. A walmart employee is accused of stealing thousands of rounds of ammunition from the delaware store where he works. Investigators tell nbc10 they found the ammunition survival scope and bags at this home. A rally to promote service and love in philadelphia in the wake of a probe into racism at university of oklahoma fraternity. Members of the divine nine historically africanamerican fraternities and sororities gathered at love park to promote positivity. Encourage they were encouraged to wear their greek colors and come with an open heart and positive spirit. It stems from this video which shows members of sae at university of oklahoma chanting racial slurs and referring to lynchings. People at todays rally in philadelphia say they want to help dispel myths about greek organizations. Although we are part of different organizations, we are united together and we are about making change in our community to better educate each other and to get rid of the stigma of racism going on in our country.
