The Funeral Service will also be on saturday at the palestra at the university of pennsylvania. Officer wilson as you know was shot and killed a week ago today. He was buying a video game for his son at the gamestop store in north philadelphia when Police Say Two men came in to commit a robbery. A shootout began and officer wilson was killed and he was in the 22nd police district. Charles ramsey said he spent the day with the officers family to finalize his funeral arrangements. We have a framework that we use for a full honors funeral, but we have to be flexible because we work with the family and ultimately its the family that decides exactly what they want, what they dont want and so forth. We have certain protocols, silent march that we have when the caisson, the horsedrawn caisson is taken to the venue where the funeral is going to take place. Speaking of a silent march, Philadelphia City council also took time to remember officer wilson by holding a moment of silence before todays meeting. Thank you so much. The two officers wounded in ferguson have been released from the hospital and today attorney general eric holder condemned the attack and others like it. Among them the killing of Philadelphia Police officer Robert Wilson. These devastating incidents serve as a reminder that our Law Enforcement officers perform a job that is extremely serious, that is deeply heroic and it is deserving of our most emphatic support. Holder said these acts of violence threaten reforms that people in ferguson and around the country have been working toward. Tonight missouri investigators are focused on finding who carried out this mornings attack. As you might imagine, this is the number one priority right now of the st. Louis county Police Department to identify these individuals. That individual or individuals who shot our Police Officers. S. W. A. T. Officers were at a home in fergu8 4 they took several people in for questioning. Last nights shootings took place during a demonstration. The crowd gathered shortly after fergusons police chief announced his resignation. Michael browns family is condemning this mornings violence and they called the shootings senseless. At this point we are not hopeful for survivors and we are transitioning our search and rescue operation to a recovery. Reporter the uh60 Army Helicopter went down in thick fog during a Training Exercise over the santa rosa sound. It was certainly a highimpact crash. So we do have a lot of debris. The 11 soldiers and marines onboard are feared dead as the military moves into a recovery phase. We have retrieved remains. Seven onboard the chopper were special forces marines based out of camp lejeune, north carolina. The helicopter and fourperson crew were members of the Louisiana National guard, two other military communities now suffering a loss. The ongoing fog is now likely to hamper Recovery Efforts of the helicopter and delay officials in retrieving the black box. Something they hope will give them clues as to what caused the crash.
