Now to that breaking news were following, a baby was rushed to the hospital with severe burns after police say somebody set the child on fire. The baby was found right in the middle of a people pemberton township street. Matt delucia is live there this morning. Matt are there any witnesses to this crime. Reporter police tell us that neighbors called 911 just before 11 00 last night. They said there was a commotion in the middle of the street. But by the time the officers got there, this baby was already badly burned. Take a look at the scene. We were there a few hours ago, this is simenton road near stocktons bridge road in pemberton township Burlington County. That baby were were told was set on fire and was very young, possibly a newborn. A helicopter was brought in the baby flown to st. Christophers. A woman 22 years of age was at the scene, taken to a nearby hospital as well. Were working to find out her relationship to the victim and whether Police Believe she was the one who lit the fire. Those two, police tell us were the only ones in the street. At this point it is unclear if this baby will survive. Again, were told these burns are very severe. We do have calls into the Burlington County Prosecutors Office to get more information as they investigate how and why this baby possibly a newborn, was set on fire. Live at st. Were getting a look at the man who stalked a woman before killing her at a philadelphia bus stop in broad daylight. This morning, police are searching for the man who shot and killed 56yearold kim jones. She was on her way to her job as a Child Advocacy worker. Late yesterday, investigators released this Surveillance Video in the case. According to police the suspect waited for an hour Tuesday Morning for jones to leave her house in north philadelphia. The video shows him trailing behind her as she made her way to the bus stop at 12th and jefferson streets. As jones waited for the bus, the man pulled a gun from a duffel bag and shot her in the back of the head. The suspect entered the subway at broad and cecil b. Moore. The victims son spoke out for the first time yesterday. My mother was a great person very selfless. As was said earlier, she deserved a lot better than this. Jones son thanked the community for their support at the prayer vigil yesterday. New from overnight, Afghan Security forces have arrested five people suspected of being involved in a School Massacre in pakistan. The men were arrested near afghanistans eastern border with pakistan. 150 people were killed most of them children in the december 16th attack. The school just reopened last week. Antiterror raids in western europe are rounding up dozens of suspects in the wake of last weeks massacre in paris. Authorities say that the raids have targeted alleged terror cells in france and germany. In belgium, Police Killed two gunmen just back from syria. According to authorities, the gunmen were about to launch a major terrorist attack. Meanwhile, in paris yesterday, secretary of state john kerry paid tribute to the dead and offered support to france and the countrys president. At the white house, president obama and british prime David Cameron promised to share more intelligence to stop terror cells before they strike. Theyll gather this afternoon at the location where bernard ray was killed at deli and butler streets. Police say he was founded with a gunshot wound to the chest after he crashed his mini van into several parked cars back on bjorn 4th. Theres no motive in this case. The city is offering a 20,000 reward for any information leading to an arrest and conviction in the crime. In Burlington County a 3yearold child is dead after a train crashed into a car in riverside. Several witnesses say that they watched the driver try to beat a Railroad Gate coming down yesterday afternoon. After the river line train hit the 3yearold the passenger was thrown from the car. Two men inside the vehicle were seriously injured and five commuters aboard the train went to the hospital with nonlifethreatening injuries. Skyforce 10 was over the scene of another deadly accident involving a train and a car yesterday. This one happened in Lehigh Valley around 7 00 last night. Near west main and mill streets in macungie. Police say the person killed was the driver of the car, however, her name has not been released. This morning, we know more about the Temple University student who died after falling eight stories on to a center city sidewalk injuring another woman. Rebecca kim was visiting friends at an Art Institute of philadelphia dormitory in Center City Thursday night. Kim climbed out of a dorm window to take pictures. The temple freshman then fell to the ground landing on another woman on the sidewalk. Kims friends tell us she was smart and helpful and that she had a bright future. I love her and i miss her so much. I wish she was here. Im going to miss her smile, talent, hard work all of that. Kim grew up in Montgomery County. As for the woman who was injured on the sidewalk she remains in Critical Condition in the hospital. 409 409 new this morning, this is video of a student rally at Penn State University last night. Now to news in delaware county, a drug suspect is facing charges after police say he shot at an officer and tried to run her down with his car. This happened late yesterday at 69th and walnut streets in upper darby. According to investigators, the undercover officer tried to arrest the driver. When that happened he suddenly drove on to the sidewalk and smashed into a building and parking meters. When the driver tried to run down the officer, she fired a shot but did not hit him. Police managed to arrest the suspect. Nobody was hurt. A philadelphia man will spend decades behind bars for beating his son to death. Yesterday, Samuel Cabrera was sentenced to 20 to 40 years in prison. He is convicted of murdering his 3monthold son, Samuel Cabrera jr. In 2013. According to investigators cabrera brutally beat his child at their house in west philadelphia. The boy died at the hospital. Police say cabrera confessed after first telling investigators that it was all an accident. Theres quite a bit of concern among parents in south jersey this morning after a 6yearold student just walked out of class without anybody noticing. It happened monday afternoon at Magnolia Elementary School in camden county. Coal by morgans mother says she was completely shocked to find her young son home before the end of the school day. It turns out he left school after he told his substitute teacher that the school nurse said it was okay for him to go home. You know as a mom, your mind goes there, what if he got hit by a car, what if he got kidnapped. Magnolias superintendent tells nbc 10 this was an isolated incident. He also says that the administration is reviewing dismissal procedures with all staff. Now to news from our delaware bureau. Health officials confirm that 15 people have died from the flu in the state this season. Thats the same number of people who died during the four previous flu seasons combined. According to the cdc, this flu season is reaching epidemic levels, particularly in children. The latest figures showc widespread flu in almost every state. 45 children have died so far. Doctors say it has to do with an aggressive flu strain and a vaccine thats not meeting expectations. 70 of the strains that were seeing circulate this season have drifted. Means theyve sort of outsmarted our vaccine this season. A University Professor says tamiflu can be taken within 48 hours once you get sick. According to a recent review published in the british medical journal, researchers found tamiflu decreases symptoms but they say theres little evidence it reduces serious complications. Now to news in Montgomery County, a teacher and his brother face charges after police say that they turned up hundreds of bags of heroin in the brothers house. Dusten cook is a math teacher at Reading Intermediate High School in berks county. Administrators have suspend him without pay. Police have also arrested cooks brother bryan. According to detectives, they found more than 400 bags of heroin packaging materials and cash at the brothers house in limerick township Montgomery County. Investigators say they do not believe that dusten cook the teacher, sold drugs at his school.
