The newest information i have from detectives here is that they anticipate charges will be filed against one of the men later this morning. Quite frankly, theyre crediting good oldfashioned detective work for finding these four men. Lets take a look at the video. All four men reportedly live at the same address, south 8th and moore street in south philadelphia. Detectives searched the home last night. We know they confiscated several bicycles. Thats important. Because from new surveillance video, the suspect locked his bike to a light pole in the Rittenhouse Square neighborhood seconds before he followed the victim and forced her into her apartment where police say she was raped several times and robbed. This happened Early Saturday Morning on the 1900 block of spruce street. Heres a sketch of the man from the victims memory. Captain john darby says he was violent with her throughout the whole ordeal. This sends a clear message. The fact that he would take chances of exposurexposure, bei by others. The fact that he would enter a property where there are multiple occupants, the fact that he would remain there and possibly return a second time. The robber had a long criminal record and had been released from prison within the past year. They believe this was a justifiable homicide. Now the reason for the shutdown, the bridge needs new decking, among other repairs. It should be reopened by late this fall. Now, fortunately for commuters, that bridge isnt nearly as big or widely used as this one. The 459 bridge in wilmington that shut down earlier this month for repairs, a pile of dirt placed next to the bridge is believed to have caused some of the support columns to tilt. Engineers say the southbound side of the bridge should be open around labor day, the northbound side sometime in september.
